The word respect is losing it meaning
Yet disrespect is what's 'in'
Trying to teach it seems demeaning
If everyone is wanting to fit in to win
Even when it comes to the elders, People are rude as can be
Treated as if they were children on punishment
With holding their treats
Full of knowledge of the wars and the wages
And you treat as the funny pages
So mind what you say to them whenever you speak
Because one day you will be
in the elderly seats
