Unsure/Rain can symbolize life. maybe it's Davey telling Jade to pray for a life together. watch all your dreams fall through could be the negative side of a life together. being disowned.

Davey is so in love with Jade that he feels like he could die. he's asking Jade to hold him before he pushes him away out of fear of being exposed

They are singing with/to each other. saying that they'll run away to decemberunderground. i grow pale without you could be them saying if they aren't together then they'll feel alone. decemberunderground could be a metaphor for their favorite place to go to to be alone together.
