"A casino? What are you talking about Brooklyn?" he asked while yawning at the same time.
"It's a casino I use to work at over on 310. I know everything. I can get us all the money. We won't have to hit licks anymore after that." He rose from the bed and glanced at me for a second.
"310? Seneca?" he asked.
"Yes... You're familiar with it?" I asked even though I knew the real answer.
"Yeah. I know the boss over there. Not like we cool or nothing but I know of him. That's the best idea ever I'm with it I'm all for it let's do it!" His excitement showed through his body language. You could feel his energy, the blood running through his veins rapidly. For him to finally get his hands on Carlos I knew that's what he wanted. "So how are going to do this?" When he asked that question, I froze up. I really didn't think that far ahead.
"Why do I have to make the plan? You're a mastermind at the shit!" I responded.
"That was because I knew everything that involved them licks we hit and who we hit em on. This your shit. You know that casino. Being as though you worked there you should know it like the back of your hand. This is your plan, I'm just here to follow."
That's when it hit me. The thought of me actually being in control. Not being told what to do by anybody else. Me finally being in the lead.
"Okay well, one thing about Carlos is that he's a drug Lord. Only people in that business would know that and his secret staff."
"Secret staff?"
"The secret staff are his workers for both his personal and well-known business, the cartel and the casino. Some of the staff at the casino are actually workers for him, too. Distributors, hitmen, anything you can think of. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday they have a meeting in this room right beside his office at 9 PM. They all have to be in the room approximately 10 minutes before 9, right before Carlos comes in. During those 10 ten minutes, Carlos is in his room prepping himself."
"So, how do you know all of this if it's only his secret staff that knows?" he asked.
That was a good question that had me stuck. I thought of one lie and one lie only that came to mind. "He was my boyfriend and he told me everything." I replied.
"When did you guys break up?" he asked.
"We never officially did... But when we hit this lick this will be my official way to do it. I'm going to kill him."
"What did he do to you, Brooklyn?" he asked.
"He broke my heart. He took everything from me. Because of him, I no longer know how to love. I run away every man in fear because of him."
"Well, you haven't run me away. I'm not going anywhere." He smiled at me while my eyes were getting watery. Although I lied about him being my ex-boyfriend, the way Carlos has now made me is no fabrication. "Ok, so the 10 minutes." he said.
"Right! While the staff members leave their post to get to the room for the meeting I can sneak us into Carlos's office. During those 10 minutes it would only be us and Carlos in the room, so he'll have no protection. In that room is the vault where all the money is, and there's another vault which leads you through a tunnel to his warehouse in the basement. So after we kill him, we can leave out that vault. No one knows about that vault but me and him."
"What about security footage?"
"I'll take care of it. I can get access to it through a good friend of mine." I said.
"I'm trusting you, Brooklyn. Don't let me down. I'm with it. So when do you wanna do this? You wanna wait til Monday so we can prepare ourselves?"
"No. I need this done soon as possible. We can do it Friday." I replied.
