8. Houses

Houses.

Tall, short, big, small, beautiful and ugly.

All in different sizes.

We buy a house because of how big it is, of how nice it looks or where it lies.

Once we want to buy a house we have to look inside. We check out all the rooms, we look if we have to work on the house on the inside as well.

We are all like houses.

We appear in different sizes.

One is tall the other is short, larger or smaller.
If you have many windows and larger doors then you are an open person.
Big rooms mean that you have a lot of space for others in your heart.

Most people want us because of what we look like.

But they have to look on the inside before buying us. Before actually wanting to live with us for the rest of our lives.

We have to look at what's inside everyone's heart before judging.

Yet they always change the inside of it to their own liking. Not that it is wrong...

We change houses because of others as well sometimes.

But what if the house was a person?

Would you change him/her into someone you like as well?

Or would you change yourself because of someone else?

Because every single day people change others to their own likings.

Or they change themselves.

If you were a house.

You could just add some paint. Or even change something on the outside. Just to appear nice.

Or you could change your interior by breaking walls or building new ones.

You could open your door or keep it closed.

Because people always choose the beautiful ones first right?

The same as a beautiful house, a beautiful flower...

And all because of someone else.

What about yourself?

99% of the people would buy a nice house. Because that's logical.

99% of the people would pick a beautiful flower. Because it's nice to give to someone else.

But what about that 1%?

That 1% gives the chance to those houses that are about to crumble apart...

It gives a chance to those dying flowers.

Which one are you?
