Elsa sat next to Jack purposely in History. "Hey Jack," Elsa said. Jack shifted a little uncomfortably, "Elsa, hey.." They both sat in awkward silence through out the rest of History and Elsa regretted her choice. They both felt their hands crawling towards each others but they pulled away. "How's Punzie, everything back to uh normal?" Elsa asked, her heart in her throat for some reason. "Normal..." Jack looked at her and she looked away. "Elsa, you OK?" Jack asked, she looked back up, her eyes glassy. "I don't know Jack," she admitted. "Can we uh, talk after lessons?" Elsa suggested hopefully. Jack nodded and looked away with guilt in his eyes.

"Ahh," Merida sighed as she sunk in to the plush bed with Punzie. Punzie stretched out her long legs and grinned, "Is it just me, or is it getting real hot in here?" "You, open, up, the, windows, i'm, too, tired," Merida closed her eyes. Punzie got up lazily and went towards the window. She could see the orchards, where it had all began. Sighing she opened the window. But not before she glimpsed 2 figures down near the lake. Probably Jasmine and Aladdin, she thought. They both loved the cold water there. The window opened and she was hit by a strong cool breeze.

Punzie looked back to see Merida fast asleep. If Jack were here, she thought, he'd dump that bottle of water on her. Punzie hid a smile and looked towards the window again. I should go see Jack, she thought happily. Punzie left the room after leaving a note for Merida. Not that Merida would see it, let alone read it anyways.

"So..." Jack said, nervously wringing his hands together. "Well, sorry to add to your problems but, Anna's coming and she uh thinks that we are together...after....Punzie...yeh," Elsa sat on the bench feeling the slightly damp grass with her bare feet. Did it rain last night? "We can just tell her," Jack shrugged, sitting down next to her. "Jack..." Elsa looked at him. "Yeh?" He looked at her and saw the words in her eyes. "Say it," he demanded. Elsa wrung her hands nervously together and flushed, looking away she knew it was wrong. But oh she wanted it. "I..." she gulped and said, "I think Punzie's looking for you." Jack almost felt sad and hurt. She didn't? She couldn't, he thought firmly but he did.

"Thats all?" he asked with surprise in his eyes. They were both broken. They were both hurt. But they were both strong. "No," Elsa determined. She said it like she was forcing herself to say it. Her eyes closed for a second and her body tensed when she felt Jack's hand on hers. "You can't," Jack warned, not unkindly. She sighed and her shoulders physically slumped. But she liked his touch. "It's all about Punzie, why are you with her when you don't even love her?" Elsa knew it was the cold truth. Jack's eyes flared. Elsa didn't crumble, "C'mon Jack, you have no right to be mad, it is the truth after all."

"She makes me happy," he said through gritted teeth. "Or, you force yourself to be happy because she isn't for you," Elsa looked at him. His muscles were tensed and his mouth a pressed straight line. "No, I don't," he lied. How could she? "Elsa, thats not true, I love her, you are just jealous," and Elsa knew too that was the truth. "No im not, im stating true facts," she argued back. "How do you expect me to admit it when you won't yourself? You started this!" Jack glared at her, and she glared back. "No, its not my fault you fell in love with me," Elsa said, even though she knew she did first. "I fell in love too deep," Jack said standing up.

"You realise now you truly love me, after you let me go," Elsa said, silent tears running down her cheeks. "I did let you go Elsa, now its your turn," Jack said walking away. They both knew, it was virtually impossible to do that to each other.
