After much contemplation, he thought to confront her.

"Zafi, why are you being distinct. Is there anything bothering you?" Jamal enquired, Zafra softly engulfing her in his arms.

She didn't return his hug, but didn't struggle either.

"I think you should get remarry, Jamal." Zafra stated, in monotone. With a stoic face.

It took him a second to realise, what she said. He quickly pull her, and hold her arms to look into her eyes.

"What?" Jamal queried, to make sure, he heard right.

"Am asking you to marry again, Jamal." She again said with same expression.

"Is this some kind of joke?" He asked. " if it is, then its a pathetic one." He commented, in a serious tone.

"Am serious, Jamal." She freed her arms from his hands. He moved forward to reach her but her words froze him.

"I've read the reports." She choked, with glossy eyes.

When her watery eyes met his, its like a warm water poured on him, slowly melting his freezed sense.

"Its nothing like that---" Jamal tried to explain, but she didn't let him finish.

"I know, you've done that for my own good. Still I can't help, but feel hurt." She continued.

"I can't give you the pleasure of being father, Jamal. I can't make you complete. I can't give you a family, a child. Am a waste, Jamal." Zafra broke down in sobs, her husband swiftly took her in his arms. Hugged her tightly.

"Please. Don't talk like that. You are not a waste. You are my life. I can't even think of anyone in your place. Even if you say, can you be happy, watching me with someone else. Can you share me with someone else, for that matter." He confronted her, feeling angry, she was easily giving up. He hugged her tightly, like if he loose a bit she would leave him.

"I c--can." She croaked, with hurt.

"NO. You can't. And am not going to marry, just because you can't give me a family." He yelled, getting aggressive.

"YOU are my family, Zafi. I love you Zafra Jamal. I love YOU, I don't care, if we can't have a baby. Your presence in my life is enough for me." He spoke, softly in her ears, still hugging her.

Zafra fell loosely in his arms, he felt her body heavy against his. Jamal moved her to look, but her head fell on his shoulder, she lost her conscious.

"Congratulations, Mr. Jamal. She is two months pregnant." Doctor stated.

Jamal was rooted to his spot, his eyes were wide. When she fell unconscious, he brought her to hoapital. After a series of tests performed on her for two hours, she revealed the news.
He explained Zafra's, first miscarriage to doctor. She went through her file, and performed a ultrasound and scanning to check her womb. After making sure all the reports, she gave her word.

"I know, her womb was still little weak, if she would be in complete bed rest with tiny exercises, she can go through it." Doctor smiled, handing Zafra's reports to Jamal.

Jamal and Zafra stayed rooted to thier spot. He gently gave a squeeze to her hands to gave her assurance, he will be there in every stage of this pregnancy. A silent message, they would make it this time. He would protect his baby and mother of his baby.

They both bow down to her lord, to show thier gratitude.

Like the time for her pregnancy, nears her anxiety reach its peaks. She was very careful. When she crossed sixth month, doctor confirmed that the baby was stable. And her womb was much strong to carry the baby till delivery.

Two months later, she was gifted with, a baby boy. Both the couple can't thank enough for the blessing, Allah had bestowed upon them.
