Part 7 (Final)

Everyone watches in shock and horror as the Red Crystal begins to crack and tear. Suddenly, Trigon's breaks his head and arm free from the crystal. "At last, this wretched seal is breaking!" he mutters as he then frees his other arm. With demented glee, Makuta then turns to Raven and says in a mocking tone "once our father is free, what shall we do with your pitiful friends? Perhaps we'll possess them and make them all servants of our will!" Those words send her completely over the edge. With all four eyes glowing red like fire, Raven blasts the demons back with a powerful magic impulse then lunges at Makuta in her full demonic form.

"Get her!" Makuta quickly shouted. Kronos and Silas immediately jump into her way but Raven uses her magic to smash both of them to the floor like ragdolls. "No!" Makuta yells in shock, charging at Raven but she fires a blast of dark magic at him. Makuta quickly blocks the strike and lunges again but she ducks the blast and throws him violently to the side. As the staff's energy continued to surge in the crystal, Raven ran up frantically tries to pull it out but no avail. "You have failed, daughter. Nothing can stop me now!" Trigon said with a cruel and wicked laugh. At those words, Raven realizes there's only one to stop the staff from freeing Trigon. Ignoring all the risks, Raven concentrates everything she has left and fires a blast of dark magic where the staff and Red Crystal meet. Suddenly the energy surging from the staff stops and the entire fortress begins to shake and crackle. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?" Trigon yells in rage-filled shock, realizing his lower body and back was still imprisoned in what was left of the Red Crystal. "GETTING RID OF YOU!" Raven muttered as she focuses even harder on the blast.

As the titans watch in shock and try to break from the demons who held them down, Makuta got back to his feet and saw his staff was becoming overloaded with energy. "NO! DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING!?" he yells in horror. "Putting an end to this!" Raven shouted back as a beam of light starts to emulate from the staff. "YOU'LL BRING THE WHOLE FOTRESS DOWN!" Makuta uttered as he immediately lunges at her, but it was already too late. In what felt like the blink of the eye, the staff suddenly exploded with a powerful impulse, throwing everyone off their feet.

As they all recover from the blast, Robin looks up and realized the whole fortress was coming down. While the demons immediately flee and from the now collapsing fortress. Robin turns the others and shouts "GET OUT OF HERE NOW!" As he and Starfire along with the Monks run away, Kronos got to his feet and yells "Cowards! You flee like little..." Suddenly the stone wall behind him came crashing down. Kronos quickly uses his magic to hold it up but more and more rubble falls on him till he can't hold it any longer and gets crushed underneath the stone. As Silas slowly stands up, he sees the destruction before him and quickly flies away like the coward he really was. While stone and rubble fall like a hail storm, Cyborg helps Beast Boy to his feet and says "Come one, BB. We gotta get out of here!" "Wait... where's Raven!?" Beast Boy uttered back.

"I don't know, I lost sight of her after the blast!" he replies in a panic. Suddenly Beast Boy morphs into a sparrow and shouts "run for your life! I'll find her!" Before Cyborg can even reply, Beast Boy disappears into the chaos as the fortress is being reduced to rubble. With blood dripping from her nose, Raven slowly gets to her knees as she tries regain her focus. Raven was the closest to the blast and unfortunately took a lot of the impact, she was dazed and had an unbearable ringing in her ears. Suddenly, Makuta grabs her from behind and smashed her back into the ground. Ignoring the debris falling all around them, he then grips her by the throat and growls "you treacherous witch! I'm gonna..." But before Makuta can even say another word, he turns around to see Trigon, who was still trapped in the Red Crystal, getting buried underneath rubble and destruction. "FATHER!" Makuta shouted in horror as he immediately throws Raven to the side and runs to hold off the falling debris but Raven uses her magic to grab Makuta and force him back as their father is buried under a mountain of stone.
