Your POV

It's been a few days since I left Johnny for the first time to go work at the coffee shop. I've been continuing to work there every morning, but luckily I had a day off today.

What a relief.

What's also reliving is that Ashley hasn't even gotten close to noticing Johnny's been here. Just like every week day she's been at college, making it even easier to conceal Johnny from her.

After laying in bed for awhile I decided to get up and go make breakfast for the two of us. I thought Johnny was still asleep, but as I stirred pancake mix and hummed the song Set it all free, I heard him gasp from behind me.

"(Y-y/n)?" He says, startling me to the point where I almost screamed.

"Johnny?!" I turned around quickly.

"Where-where did you hear that song?" He asked again, obviously shocked and confused.

My heart skipped a beat. I'd have to tell him now. "There's something I've been meaning to tell you." I rubbed my arms in anticipation.

I turned the burner off before walking over to the couch and sitting down. He followed and played with his thumbs.

"Promise not to freak out?" I said quietly, seeming more like a statement than a question.

He looked at me and I saw the confusion and fear on his face. "O-okay," He said.

"Stay here," I said, getting up to grab my laptop.

As I made it to my room, I took a deep breath and opened the device. I went on Netflix and Sing popped up in my continue watching section. I carried the laptop with slightly shaking arms back to Johnny.

How scary would it be to know that somewhere someone it's watching you?— and that people can rewatch a part of your lives, over and over again at the slightest tap of their fingertips.

I took a deep breath before sitting down and trying to explain this to him. "You know how you're not from here."

"Yeah."

"W-well what if I told you you're from a different world, or even a universe," I said, unsure of how to break the news to him.

"Okay," He replied, also unsure.

"You're in a movie of ours," I said quickly but also quietly. I looked back into his eyes that had opened up wide. "I'm not saying you aren't real—you are! It's just that here you are in a movie."

"But how?!" He said. "How can I be in a movie? It's not just like someone here created me."

"I know, Johnny, it doesn't make sense," I said as I rubbed my eyes. I looked back at him and he looked afraid, confused and maybe a bit angry. "We'll figure this out."

"How!? How can you figure something out like this?!"

I felt as if I shrank a bit; I hated yelling. "Well you got here somehow didn't you?" I snapped back. "You came here for a reason."

He looks taken back. His mouth opened but then shut just as quickly. "I guess," He said softly. "Can I see the movie?"

"Oh, okay." I said, handing him the laptop.

He looked at the screen for a bit before pressing play. He's extremely brave to do that. I didn't know if I would want to watch a movie about me and my life, a movie that I didn't know was even created, and especially one that made it seem like you weren't even real.
