HOW IT WORKS:
- Each week there will be a reading challenge. Each member will be paired up with another member and you will critique a minimum of 2 chapters (including the prologue) of your partner's story.
- You can have up to 2 of your stories in this book club, but that means you have 1 partner per story (so 2 partners) and you have to read the story of each partner. But, if your partner has 2 stories, you only read the one you are paired to.
- In this book club, we all want to help each other improve our writing, thus, we require a every critic to have 2+ in-line comments, or 2+ sentences if the review is in the normal comments.
- We manually check every review each member gives. If you are found to have insulted your partner's work, you will be given one permanent strike. We do not tolerate insults here in this book club; insults do not equal criticms.
- If you can't participate one week please tell one of the admins and we will excuse you, if you don't tell us and you don't participate you'll get a one temporary strike. If you have 2 temporary strikes, you can't have any partners until you catch up. This is so everyone can benefit from the book club, it may be harsh but this will help you and all your partners :)
- Each month there will be a book of the month and everyone will vote for the book of the month, the one with the most votes will be the BOTM, participation in this is optional.
- You will be paired up with the person that matches up to your preferences the best, your partners will change each week but you may be paired up with the same person more than once, depending on how many people we have in the club.
- Once you are done with the weekly task, comment DONE on the weekly comment section for our admins to confirm.
- Mature stories allowed - but only the ones with the preference to read these stories will be paired up with them.

RULES:
- You must complete your weekly reading, otherwise you will get a strike. If you are confused about our strike system, read above, and if you're still confused, comment on our Q&A book (your question may have been asked, so do read the Q&A).
