The leaves die, our souls tremble with fear and people were in different costumes all over town. This must be Halloween. Otherwise, I wouldn't be telling you about these creepy and unusual acts. However, this isn't any ordinary 31st. Because this time, an invitation came out at quarter to two on the dot, it went out to everybody and it came from the house of all nightmares.

Want to have a REAL Halloween party? Come to the Greyhouse mansion at 7:30 pm tonight for the time of your paranormal life. There'll be food, games and much for you to fuel your undead appetite. Be there or be six feet under! Muahahahaha!

Tommy screamed once he saw the invitation as he already seemed to know what was going on. Alex was right next to him with his own copy of the invitation. He rolled his eyes and tried to calm him down with the truth.  "C'mon Tommy," he spoke softly but sternly.  "We're going."

"No!" Tommy snapped venomously. Afterwards, he immediately pointed at the address on the invitation in a jittery manner. "Do you know who lives there?" he asked with fright.

"Yeah..." Alex replied. "Old man Carrano lives there. So what if the creepy mansion is over a hundred. years old?" Alex stood by his decision. Jordan whimpered and was firm on his decision as well. "C'mon, we're going to be late." Alex sighed whilst dragging Tommy by the arm.

Not everybody who received an invitation was satisfied with it. Just take Grant and Harrison for example. "Oh boy!" Grant cried. "I've never been invited to a Halloween bash before!" He vacantly stared at the invitation which was on a soft orange paper with black writing. Harrison overheard and swiped the invitation away from him without saying a word. Grant could tell that something was wrong. "What's wrong, Harry?"  After hearing that, Harrison began to think about that question. He was slow in his reply. "I've been to one before and..."

"And what?" Grant asked with defiance. Harrison replied quickly this time and became desperate in an attempt to make him stay.  "There was no punch. But that's beside the point."

"I don't know," Grant muttered. "It kinda sounds fun. I think I'll go check it out. See ya." Harrison was silent for a few seconds as he watched Grant walk out of the door and slam it as he walked out of the house. He then began to feel a bit of guilt. "I can't let my man suffer alone. I'm coming, Grant!" Harrison then ran out the door, slammed the door behind him, locked the house and made sure that Grant didn't go to the party alone.

Even with food lovers Mason and Taine, things were uneasy. "Fine. I won't stay. I'll only come to get some food".  Taine stated. "Why? You think he has Gourmet Chefs?" Mason replied in question. "Big time. He must have chefs like Adriano Zumbo for all I care."

"OK, I'll gorge with you," Mason said while shrugging his shoulder. "The more, the merrier." Taine cried before prancing out of the door. "More like scarier," Mason said to himself, still unsure on whether he should go even he already left the house.

More people from all over town got invites including the famed beauty queen,  Alice, Indigo the school socialist and sporting jock, Lewis. No one could resist the urge to go. All except the new kid called Matty. "No! It's a trick! I'm not going to a death festival again!". He screamed knowing what he learned from experience.

Even some of the uninvited are going. "Lewis is probably at the party by now. Why can't we ever get invited?" questioned Chandler. He was surrounded by Jackson and Caleb argued "Well... I hate Halloween. It's spooky and scary & I couldn't care less if we don't go." Caleb cried in disagreement. "Caleb. It's just... a party." Chandler said. "I say we crash it." Chandler was excited and got Jackson on board. Caleb tried to convince them not to go but it was two onto one. Everyone was coming to the party.
