idk it's stupid but i need a rebound because honestly i cant anymore with this other guy who i shall not say his name

i told him to pick me up at 7:00 and it's 6:58 and just as i checked the time he text me he's outside

this is gonna be interesting and i'm gonna regret it so bad..or maybe not?

i tell my mom i'm going out by myself to go pick something up and she didn't really pay attention so thank god because she would've been asking way too much questions

i open the door and a gust of cold ass wind hits me, thankfully i wore a denim jacket

i get in adriel's car and it's already h e l l a awkward i'm already regretting this

"alissa i'm not gonna bite you know"

"sorry like i honestly don't know what to say"

we got into silence and i just burst into laughter because that's what i always do in awkward situations oops

then he starts laughing and it reminds me of the old days..well the good ones

we get there and everything goes smoothly i was starving though but the waitress finally came

"hi i'm eleanor and i'm going to be your waitress for tonight can i start you off with anything?"

"yea i'll get one soda, one chocolate milkshake, and a vanilla milkshake with an avocado egg rolls appetizer and make that a large"

adriel and the waitress look at me like i'm psycho

"what...i'm hungry"

"still with that appetite huh alissa?"

"hehe yep"

the rest of the night was actually really fun adriel & i were just talking and laughing about old memories but i didn't see him as a rebound i saw him as a friend i can just count on which was way better i guess

he takes me home and i go back to reality
