i look up and im already in a trance as bad as that sounds already

it was this tan boy with green eyes and i was so speechless

"lo siento dale"

"huh?"

"oh sorry you don't speak spanish?"

"nope" omg his accent i want to faint so hot bye, thank god he can't read minds lorddd

"i said sorry go ahead"

we talked while both of of our eyes still stuck in a trance and so was our hands on the ketchup

i notice and i quickly take my hand away

he notices too and coughs awkwardly

i walk away because i was so nervous he was fwinneeeee

right when i was almost out of his sight my mom drags me back

"alissa!"

"hey mama! are you enjoying your party?"

"yes honey thank you so much, but have you met erick?"

"um yea kinda" yum so that's his name

"his family just moved from havana cuba, his mom is my new co worker, he's going to your school starting monday! you guys should be friends"

she loudly whispers to the mystery guy "she doesn't really have a lot of friends so"

"MOM!"

"sorry love okay you guys talk or dance cmon!! it's a party do what teenagers do yolo it!! make my party lit af as you kids say!"

"omg"

the guy laughs and im so embarrassed but that's my mama oh well

she finally walks away and i speak up

"so how do you like it here?"

"it's scary not gonna lie i miss my friends and family from cuba a lot but it's a safer environment here, how about you?"

"i miss my friends a lot, i've been already having a rough patch so"

"oh i'm sorry to hear that but do you wanna dance?"

"sure"

the song was spanish but it was slow i wish i knew what the song was saying but it sounded very lovey duvey and cute, aw

we started dancing slowly and talking at the same time

lil pump didn't even pop in my mind during that dance at all, it was a bittersweet kind of moment to be honest
