Chapter 14: Hera Granger

Hermione.

This morning was good. I woke up to the smell of bacon that Sandy was cooking. Padma and I rushed downstairs after we got ready. Today we are going to take a tour around the house.

"Good Morning ladies!" It was rather a jolly Remus who greeted us this morning, I have no time to complain. "Good morning Remus." We greeted back. "Sit down, and eat your breakfast, I believe we are expecting someone today." He replied, I believe that someone is Augusta Longbottom, Neville's gran.

Speaking of Neville, he walked down. "Is that bacon?" He asked, and he sat down in one of the chairs as plates and utensils appeared. The last one was Harry who just sat and ate quietly. Now that I stared at him, he seems to be a lot more taller than Neville, he is not skinny like a normal 11 years olds. He looks a lot older.

I didn't realize that when I bumped into him in the express. All I could take in was his green eyes and messy hair, that again he never fixed. "Hermione? Quit staring at Harry please." Padma teased, I just smiled and shook my head, I ate and I just couldn't keep my mouth shut. "Moony, what age did Harry started his tutors?" I asked, He smiled, "he started as soon as he could walk, talk and hold something about 5 years old."

That's a really young age to start. "Why?" I asked, Remus smiled, "We wanted him to be prepared for when the time comes and he battles Voldemort." He smiled, "And don't worry he enjoyed his childhood, but didn't have a lot of friends."

"They are always asking why I looks so different than them." He said, I couldn't blame them. "Though we just started martial arts and fencing that age, since he didn't have a wand, and couldn't be taught potions nor transfigurations nor  charms." Remus explained, "Now you three, I want you to come here to explain that being Harry's friend will cost you more, even your life." He said, that made my heart race. "So, it's either you stay or you just keep away." He said, it was harsh but it is the reality.

Padma shrugged, "I want to be by his side, other than Hermione and Neville he's one of the most protective friend we could ever ask for." She explained, I smiled. "I agree too. He stood up for me with Draco, and the troll incident too. I just want to be by his side because I trust him and it's been really hard for me to find a friend, I'm just lucky I now have three."

"Like Hermione it's been really hard for me to find a friend too. A friend that will take me seriously and not talk behind my back, and Harry he is more than a friend to me, he is also my family." Neville replied, I smiled. "What you have is a strong bond that is creating and I don't think if it can be easily broken." Remus said, I gulped, I really wanted to ask him this. "Remus, I know this is a really huge favor but can we be included with Harry's defence lessons? I think that if its dangerous to be around him then we should really be prepared." I said, looking hopefully at him.

Padma and Neville looked at me and their eyes told me that this is a good idea. Remua looked at us. "Let's see what I can do." He smiled, Harry did too, that encouraged us. That might be a yes.

When the doorbell rang, Harry stood up to opened the door. We waited in the kitchen for a while. "Hermione, Padma Neville! There is someone you'd want to meet." We heard Harry yell, the three of us stood uo to see who it is.

As I walked into the living room, I thought I'd see Augusta Longbottom but I saw My mum and dad and my sister. I ran to hug them. "Mum! Dad! What are you doing here? How'd you even know the place?" I asked, they smiled. "Well honey, Remus Lupin Owl'd us a few days back and send us the address, and well, We've been invited to a trip to Seoul, South Korea, and we didn't wanna leave Hera alone or with us, so we decided to leave her here." Mum said, I smiled and hugged her. "Of course."

I soon realized that I haven't introduced my friends yet. I smiled, "Mum, Dad, this is Harry Potter, the owner of the house, Padma Patil, she's from India and she is the girl I met on the train, and Neville Longbottom, and the man right there is Remus." I said, Padma, Harry and  Neville smiled and waved. While Remus came forward. "Hello, you must be Mr. and Mrs.  Granger. I'm Remus Lupin."

Mum and Dad smiled as they shook his hand, "nice to meet you and the kids too, do please call us Dan and Emma. You've been kind enough for letting Hermione and Hera stay in your home." My mother said, as she shook the hands of my friends. "Well as fun as this is, we must be going we need to catch our flight. Bye Hermione take care of yourself and Hera, we love you." Dad said as he kissed my forehead. "Remus, kids, goodbye and it was nice meeting you." They said, The three smiled, "You too Dan and Emma." Harry said, I carried my 3 years old sister as we waved goodbye. I then sat in the sofa. As the three stared at my sister.

"So guys, This is Hera Granger my sister."
