Evan's POV
“Okay, well, the first thing we should do is tell Rebecca's parents,” I said
“What? Why?” asked Mike
“Don't you think they'll want to know where their daughter is?”
“I guess...”
“And when we've done that, Kira can lead us to where Rebecca's being held, and then we can figure out the best way of getting in, and getting Rebecca out.”
“Well? What're we waiting for?” asked Accalia, “The sooner we go the sooner Rebecca can be back with her pack.”
“I doubt she'd call it that but yeah, let's go. Oh, and Accalia, I'd recommend you don't talk while in your wolf form. I don't want her parents to be scared off.”
“Gotcha.”
So we went to Rebecca's place, and I knocked on the door. A woman answered.
“Mrs. Wright?” I asked.
“Yes. What I can do for you?”
“I don't know how to say this, so I'm just going to say it. We have reason to believe Rebecca's been taken and is being held against her will somewhere.”
“What? Oh my god... Is she okay?”
Kira piped up, “Yeah. She would like to get out though.”
I nodded. “So we're going to get her.”
“I want to come,” she said.
“...What?”
“I want to see my daughter. And maybe help out.”
“Yeah... This is gonna be extremely dangerous. I kinda want you to live to see your daughter.”
“If your daughter was in possible danger, wouldn't you sacrifice yourself to save her?”
“Well... I guess I can't argue with that one.”
“Okay, so what's your plan?” She asked.
“Well, Kira,” I indicated who Kira was, “already knows where she is, and my... pet Accalia...” Accalia growled at me, “...yes, I know you don't like that word. Anyway, she can obviously use her keen sense of smell to pinpoint exactly where she is. When we've got there, I can survey the area and come up with a plan to get her out.”
“You make it sound so simple.”
“Hopefully it will be simple,” I smirked. “Okay, I'll get the stuff, you wait here.”
“Actually I'd like to come with you,” Rebecca's mother replied.
“Umm... Okay.”
So, we went to our home, and Rebecca's mother looked up at it, “You're certainly part of the forest here.”
“Yup.” I went inside and started looking for what I believed was needed to rescue Rebecca.
“So... have you all met Rebecca?”
We all said yes, except Accalia, who obviously barked instead.
“Wow. Never realised she had this many friends. Why did you name her Accalia?”
“Because Accalia means she-wolf in Latin.”
“Ah. Clever.”
I picked up a few things, including my trustworthy crossbow and two pistols which were nicknamed Vera and Mal (I'm a massive Firefly fan) and headed into the living room, “Okay, I'm ready.”
