"Happy Birthday to you!" Your best friends sing, completely off key that it made you majorly cringe. You gave them a toothy grin anyway, thankful that they had bothered to remember your birthday.
"Make a wish!"
You closed your eyes tight and wished. Your friends were watching you, requesting for you to tell them your wish. You shook your head and smiled to yourself; your wish was too personal.
Then your eyes were covered and you heard someone fumbling with a computer and then eventually the cheers of success. Your eyes were soon uncovered and you were face to face with a live projection of Shawn.
You couldn't keep back your smile as it crept all the way up to your eyes and made crinkles in it's wake.
"Happy Birthday, Honey!" Shawn shouted after seeing your uncovered face. You flushed, biting your lip as all of your friends cooed.
"I wish I were there, I miss you too much. I'll see you soon and I hope you don't miss me too much today." He blew you a kiss and your heart fluttered.
