Charlotte saw Cherry and walked up to her. "Cherry, do you recognise me?" she said, smiling.
"Lottie!" she wheeled around joyfully. "Father's niece!"
"That's right!" The girl straightened her cardigan thoughtfully. "Did you not know I come here?"
"No," Cherry admitted, blushing slightly, "Though I haven't really had chance to look around."
"I'm a fifth former," Lottie explained, "One of my new duties is to see that the newbies know where to go!"
"Who is the head girl?" Cherry asked, quite surprised that she did not know.
"Oh, we do actually vote her in. This year everyone guesses it will be Pam David because she is very popular."
"Mmm... well, Charlotte, I'll be interested to talk to you! Actually, I am having great trouble with maths prep. Could you possibly help me please?"
"Of course! I love maths! I'd love to help you. But make sure you tell your form teacher if you really don't get it."
I'm having writer's block right now, why don't you PM me a possible chapter story?
