Flora got up from bed, stretched, and looked around the room. maybe this wasn't a dream...
She looked through the dresser, avoiding a gaze on the mirror, there was no clothes. she looked on the side of the bed and noticed folded up clothes and a sketch book on top with a note.
"I hope you had a good night sleep Flora, I laid some cloths here for you and a Sketch book to keep you entertained. theres some food on the table for you, I'll be back soon, i have something important to tell you
-Serena"
Flora smiled and looked at the cloths she was given. a white skirt, a orange-red floral designed blouse, and a red violet cardigan. she put on the skirt, tucked in the shirt, put on the cardigan and her tied up boots. She took the sketch book and walked outside in the back yard
There was a pool and a field filled with flowers. she smiled and ran towards the field. sat down, took out the pencil that was in the rings of the sketch book and began drawing a perfect daisy.
"Flora..." a familiar voice called out from behind. her eyes widened and she slowly turned around to see Martin looking down at her with his honey brown eyes and light brown hair
"M-Martin..." She stuttered scared. he grinned
"Why are you surprised?" He asked.
"because you pointed a knife at me last night!" she yelled standing up. he shook his head.
"Really Flora? You should know me better then that, i was the one guy that actually cared for you, i only did it to play along" he smiled crossing his arms. he was right...out of all the guys in the gang, he was the only one that cared more when ever she gets too close to danger
"What are you doing here...?" she asked calming down. he looked at the mansion then back to her cloths.
"you seem happy here...your face is much more brighter then it use to be" his smile fated a bit. "I came here because everyone is out looking for you. luckily i found you before they did. i need you to stay safe. this place would be the last place they'll look-".
"then how did you find me?" She cut him off confused
"because I'm smart" he laughed "so if you ever decide to be out in the city. wear something completely out of your character. When i saw you in that, i almost didn't recognize you. What your wearing looks very nice, but wear something else so you don't have to feel like you're hiding in that" he pointed at her clothes "I cant stay here for too long, i'll check up on you maybe next week" he began to walk away
"Wait! what about the plan? what happened?" she stopped him. he turned to face her
"the newspaper explained about 'the violets' plan, telling everyone to be aware and all that shit. the guys got super pissed and had to relocate. they are on the run to find you. so take my advice, wear something completely different in the streets, be a nerd or emo or something, and be yourself here in the mansion, alright?" he raised his brows. she wanted to say that she might not stay here for long, but nodded understanding anyways
"Good, see yah Flower" he laughed throwing her old bracelet that had her name on it and ran off.
she walked back to the mansion and ate whatever she was given. pancakes and strawberries. strawberries seemed to be her favorite and Serena seemed to know.
It was pass 2:00. Serena came back home with dozens of bags and boxes "hey there Flora" she smiled while putting everything on the floor. "how was your day?" she asked. Flora handed her, her Sketchbook. Serena looked through many drawings of different flowers, her breakfast, her shoes and a picture of the picture of Serena, the man, and little girl.
"These are beautiful! you're such an amazing artist!" She smiled. Flora blushed smiling. "i have some things for you!" the two sat down on the couch and opened the boxes full of clothes, hand bags, shoes, bras, underwear, accessories, and books.
"Oh no, Serena this is too much...i cant accept this..." Flora said, waving her hands away from the boxes.
"its alright, its no problem! but remember when i said i had something important to tell you? well, my husband is on his way home from a business trip, i like you to meet him" she smiled. Flora nodded.
The two girls had moved the boxes to a different and bigger room that Serena said that it was Floras official room upstairs. it had a queen size bed with a light pink floral bed cover. gold colored floors, Navy blue walls with Christmas lights hanging on them. a crystal chandelier and white dressers. Flora didn't want to be a bother but Serena insisted. it came close to 6:30.
"Hello!?" A man voice called out from the front door.
"oh! he's here!" Serena cheered running down stairs. Flora laughed.
Flora sniffed the air, smelling something strange. her eyes watered, but ignored it and walked downstairs. she heard Serena freaking out. she walked faster but smelled the strange getting stronger. she covered her mouth and nose, landing on her knees
"Why do you smell like smoke!?" Serena yelled
"I went to a barbecue and the smoke from the pit got on me, you know i always go to one after i come back before i get home, why are you freaking out?" Morgan, her husband, asked confused
"Flora's home!" she explained, Morgan's eyes widened and they ran towards where Flora was coughing like crazy, holding her nose and mouth with one hand as she tried to keep her balance on the another. her eyes were running and the skin on her face was releasing slight blood vessels
"Im going to change my clothes to get rid of the smell, get the shot for her!" Morgan said, running to his and Serena's room. Serena ran off to the kitchen to get the needle shot and stuck it in Floras leg. Flora could finally breath, and looked at Serena shocked
"How did you know to put that there...?" she asked wide eyed. Serena sighed. Morgan came back wearing a different outfit. a tight white shirt and light blue jeans. She recognized him from the photos on the walls
"Sit down Flora, we need to talk about the important thing..." They all sat on the couch. Serena and Morgan were sitting by each other while Flora sat across from them, curious. "you see all these pictures Flora?" she asked. Flora looked at all the pictures and looked back at her, nodding "the little girl you see is our 2 year old daughter. we lost her when she was kidnapped. we could never find her, its been years but there was no signs of her from anyone... That over 10 years ago...she had sensitive lungs ever since she was born. when ever she smelled smoke or chemicals, she coughs like crazy, the needle gives out medicine to hel her..." Floras eyes widened
"Wait...what are you saying..?" she asked.
"i was looking around New york to help out some teens that needed help. i came across you, i took you under my care, your eyes and name made me burst out into happiness...and also, when ever i found out how much you loved strawberries... i knew that i had finally found..our daughter..." she cried. Flora stood up slowly.
Could this be true..? if it was, everything she knew was a lie... Nicolas never found her, he was the one that kidnapped her... he never cared for her. he just wanted more members... Flora dashed to a near by mirror
There she was...she had Serena's silver-blue eyes and light brown hair, Morgan's olive skin tone and perfect pink lips. she started to cry while cupping her mouth. her parents walked behind her, softly smiling, touching her shoulders. she looked at them through the mirror, turned and hugged them both
"I cant believe it..." she cried. the two hugged her back crying "its hard to believe... but its you...its really you.." Morgan said with his voice cracking.
Flora hated Nicolas 10x more then she ever had, he wasn't going to ruin her life anymore...she'll make sure of that...
