Chapter 12: Beach

Ivan,Tino,Tyler,julian,Joshua, Krista, Savanna and I walked towards Floras house to pick her up. "This is where Flora lives?" Tyler asked in 'wow'."yep" I said popping the 'p'

I knocked on the door. I should probably ask permission to her mom if Flora could stay the weekend with us all.I'm sure she will,she seems like a nice mom.the guys and I decided to travel in two different cars. so all of us could fit as we hit the road. Julian's charger and Joshua's challenger. these people are fucking rich...

Flora opened the door and screamed "why are all you here!? how you know where I live!? Benjamin!" she glared at me. "We're just here to pick you up" I laughed. "I thought I was going to meet you at your house!"."you thought wrong Flower" she grouched stomping inside. I let myself in while everyone else followed behind.

I saw her stomp to her room. a guy came out with basketball shorts, a muscle shirt and messy hair stretching. Must've been her brother from the pictures. he kinda looked like Ian Somerhalder and Chris Hemsworth had a baby. He noticed all of us in the living room. "who are you?" he asked. Serena came in the room next to the guy. "Oh! hello Ben!" she greeted shaking my hand happily "hi, I was wondering if Flora can spend the weekend with us in jersey" I smiled. "with all these boys? I don't think so" the guy mugged. "oh honey, this Is the first time we met Floras friends. she never goes anywhere, I think this will be good for her" she said. "but I don't want the same thing to happen again..."."that was years ago sweetie, she's a big girl now" she turned at me "yes, she can go, she already asked me" she smiled "thank you", I smiled. the guy rolled his eyes. "are you floras brother?" I asked. him and Serena blinked. then laughed "I think I like him" he laughed walking away to another room. "what I say?" I asked confused. "that's her dad" she informed giggling "whatt??!" everyone laughed at me. her dad looked so young "how old is he??" ."we are 35" . she's 35? they both look so young. "oh...and what did he mean by not wanting the same thing to happen again?"."um...its not important, just keep her close to you. i'll bring some snacks" she smiled walking to the kitchen

We all sat in the living room while Serena gave us some warm cupcakes,i swear, this woman can bake! Rosa came looking at me wagging her tail "hey there girl" I greeted. she lifted her arm expecting a hand shake. and I gave it to her. "awe! how cute! is that her dog?" Krista asked next to Tino. they had been going out for two weeks. turns out that's she's pretty cool under all the shyness. We recently found out that she could rock the electric guitar when we all went to a bar together. "yes, her name is rosa" I pointed out "you been here before?" Joshua asked "nah, she just told me" I lied. Rosa was pulling the bottom of my pants "what is it?" I asked her. she tried to pull me from the couch. I got up and she ran off "i'll be right back" I told everyone.

I walked to Floras room. she was just standing there looking at herself on the mirror with some bags next to her feet wearing a thin sweater with her scarf "you okay?" I asked walking up to her. "yes, and I'm ready" she turned and smiled. I hugged her gently. she didn't hesitate nor hugged me back. I just felt her soft body on mine "I missed you" I admit. She didn't say anything.i let go and looked at her dresser. there was two key chains in a form of a broken heart. I picked it up. "what this?" I asked."um...mom got it for me..." She admit. I look one half and put it with my keys. and gave her the other. "much better" I chuckled. "whatever,lets just go" she laughed running off.

We were on the road at 6. Ivan, Tino,savanna and krista rode with Joshua while Flora, Tyler, and I rode with Julian.Flora sat in next to me while Tyler was on the front. "you ready?" I asked. she nodded looking out the window.

It became 10 and Flora was asleep laying her head on my lap "just that way to the beach house" I whispered pointing to a certain location. Julian nodded and continued to drive. "so tell me about your friends Ben" Tyler yawned. "well, theirs Christina,Victoria,Jordan,and Jonathan. we use to be in a band together and we've been friends since 1st grade. Christina was one that helped me with my drinking problem. I think you and her will make a cute couple" I told Julian. "hmm, maybe" he puckered his lips. we arrived at the beach house my friends picked out.
