I wake up to a hand on my shoulder. I groggily sit up, looking for the person who dare wake me up from the best sleep that I've had in over two years. When I find the culprit I see that its Ian. He's wearing the same outfit as always, seeing that he would have no need for other clothes. His hand is still on my shoulder and he's wearing a smile. Nice way to start the day.

"What do you want?" I ask, my voice still sounding horse from the sleep that I just left. "It feels like its early. Victor hasn't even come to bring me to breakfast yet." Its way to early to be having a conversation. I pull the covers over and sling my legs over the side. I slip into my hospital shoes and stand up, stretching I walk to the old, wooden chair perched in the corner of the room.

I plop down onto the chair and look up at Ian.  He doesn't say anything, but just stares at me, smiling. " Seriously, what? Your starting to creep me out!" I screech, starting to get annoyed with him and his strange behavior.

" I have a surprise." He tells me. He sits down onto my bed, swinging his legs like a child."

" What?" I'm still annoyed with him, and it clearly shows in my voice.

" I cant tell you" There's mischief in his voice and his smile hasn't wavered the slightest bit. " Its a secret." His vice is so soft that I almost don't hear it.

" Then can I go back to sleep? I'm tired and you woke me up." I complain. I rest my head against the wall behind the chair. He wood paneling digs into my head, but I ignore it. " Please."

" Wont matter, Victor is here." He tells me. As he finishes his sentence notice that there is indeed footsteps making there way down the hallway. As soon as they stop in the hallway I notice that Ian is no longer here. He normally does that so I don't get distracted and make myself look more crazy.

The door opens and Victor is standing there. His stance reminds me of the man that came into my room last night, though I highly doubt that its him, fill in nurses go home at night.

He wears a smile on his face as he walks into the room. " Why are you sitting in that chair?" He asks as he comes to stand in front of me.

I shrug my shoulders and look up at him. His attractiveness still amazes me.

" Well I have some bad news." He says, his voice becoming serious. His eyes harden, showing no emotion. " Dr. Anderson is dead. " He tells me. " She was in a car accident. I will be temporarily replacing her. "

I cant help it as tears of joy come to my eyes, and I cant stop them from falling. She's dead.

          Dead.

I am finally free. I drop my head into my hands and let out a sob of relief. Victor takes in the wrong way and keels down in front of me. "Hay, don't cry, Its okay. " I'm too happy to tell him that I actually hate him. Maybe some other time. But right now I just want to celebrate.

I want to apologize for the shortness of this chapter. But I have an excuse. I had my confirmation! So I am now a confirmed member of my church. :) This week I had no time to write on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. I got sick on Thursday with a migraine, so I wasn't able to write for more than a sentence or two. So I litteraly had Friday to write.

It really sucks and I hope that you understand, instead of five days to write I only got one. Im bummed that It happened to. Longer chapter next week.
