"That's so cool!" Noel laughed. The warm feeling I felt last time grew. It's been a week since we first met. Noel and I couldn't stop talking. It turned out that Noel is two years older than me and she's very sweet. She treats me like an equal, not like a little girl. Plus, she also skipped a couple years of school and now she's in high school.

"What? I never heard of a twelve year old in high school before!" I replied with a smile. She laughed,

"Alina, it's nothing compared to you. You know Coco Gilman right? She's your age and she's already a freshman!" Wow. Is Coco's family that influential that so many people has at least heard of her? I decided to banish that thought and go back to Noel and her accomplishments.

"But... but you're a senior...the only 12 year old senior!" Noel smiled sweetly, and passed me a steaming mug. I sloshed the contents around.

"Coffee?" She asked. I nodded and took a sip. We've grown so close for just hanging out for a week. It's surprising, considering I barely socialize and Noel barely has time to socialize. Noel stood up and brushed herself off before going to her window. She has a nice view of the lush green forest nearby her house from her gigantic windows. She took a deep breath and sighed.

She looked at me and beckoned me to come over. I silently walked towards her. She draped her arm around my shoulder and hugged me closer. I wasn't used to human contact so I shrank from her touch. She noticed my awkwardness and slowly let go.

"I need...inspiration." She finally said. She plays the guitar and she's writing a piece of music for her homework. I shrugged.

"Maybe I can help?" She gave me a curious look.

"That brain of yours can do some pretty amazing things, but can it write music?" I never tried it before. I shook my head. She smiled,

"Let's give it a shot."
