As they walked back toward the building an thick silence settled over them, though it wasn't unpleasant. Yulia was trying to balance on a fallen tree, though in middle of her acrobatic act she slipped, falling into the dirt with an oof.
"Are you okay?"
Lena asked, moving to help Yulia up though the brunette just laughed and rolled onto her back.
"Just my pride. You know, it's nice to have a friend my age around. The closest person who lives nearby that is even close my age is Ana and she's sixteen and she's gone on vacation with her parents now."
Yulia stated, not even bothering to get up.
"I can't imagine spending the summer practically alone." Lena commented, only to find herself being pulled down onto the ground beside the brunette who was trying not to laugh.
"Ouch! What the heck? Yulia!"
She yelped, though she coudn't stay mad at the other girl who had a exspression on her face of pure amusement.
"We probably should go back, my sister..."
Lena began, earning a chuckle
"Will be fine and you two can eat lunch at my place, My parents won't mind besides why be alone when you don't have to?"
Yulia said, cutting her off before adding
"Besides my parents have a lot of stuff to do today so if you're shy about meeting them, they'll be out. So what do you say?"
Lena felt like she should say no but when she looked at Yulia she noticed that the other girl's face morphed into a pout, giving her a look similar to a scolded puppy.
"Oh for the love of....alright fine we'll come to your place. Just stop looking at me like that."
