They were walking back toward the apartments, fingers intertwined. Yulia was walking slightly in front of Lena, making silly comments just to see the smile back on Lena's face. They were so preoccupied with each other that neither of them had noticed that they were being watched, at least not until a large gob of mud came hurling against Lena's side.
"What the hell! Who the fuck did that! Show yourself!"
Yulia demanded, whirling around to face the direction that the object had been hurled from and it didn't take long for her to get an answer as laughter erupted from behind some bushes.
Lena could practically see the fire in her girlfriends' gaze as the sound began to fill the clearing. However when the brunette began to take a step forward, eager to give the culprits a piece of her mind Lena grabbed her hand, pulling her back.
"Lena! What the..."
Yulia trailed off when Lena pressed a finger to her lips, motioning with her head back toward the creek.
"Simple, we fight fire with fire. We have those empty bottles in your backpack, we can get them back." Lena explained in a low voice, watching understand replaced the rage in Yulia's eyes.
"Alright, what's your idea?"
Yulia replied, a mischievous smirk replacing the scowl as she turned to her girlfriend.
"Just play along and try not to get jealous."
Lena retorted before explaining what she wanted Yulia to do.
"Alright, but are you sure it will work?" Yulia asked, her voice lowering even farther.
"They're teenage boys and trust me, you think with your hormones just as much as they do."
Lena didn't give Yulia time to get offended as she walked off, saying loudly so that anyone who was around could hear.
"Well, I'm going to go swimming. We did come here to go skinny dipping after all."
Yulia snickered at the thought of Lena being that brave or outgoing though she did have to admit, she would honestly like to see the redhead naked.
Focus Yulia, this is about getting revenge not having bad thoughts about your girlfriend.
She mentally scolded herself as she went over to the small creek and began filling the empty soda bottles.
Lena rolled her eyes as she removed her over-shirt and she could practically feel the eyes straining to see anything, even though she was still wearing a tank top however suddenly a yelp followed by laughter filled the area.
"That's what you dweebs get for throwing mud on people! Just consider yourselves lucky I didn't shove you into the water!" Yulia stated, trying to keep from laughing at the pair of boys who looked like they had just had the ultimate betrayal.
"We're telling on you, Volkova!"
"Yeah!"
Yulia rolled her eyes at the pair of them before responding
"For what? Indecent exposer? How about I give you two idiots something to actually tell about?"The brunette retorted before going over to Lena and kissing her, earning a disgusted sound from both of the boys.
"Come on, let's get away from the freaks or we might catch whatever crazy disease they have!"
As they rushed off Yulia pulled away, sending her a sheepish smile.
"Sorry about that but I..."
She began, though Lena just cut her off with a laugh.
"Don't worry about it. I don't think I could regret that. Seeing them run off like they saw a ghost!"
