14. I Didn't Mean To!

{Sara's POV}

"Well?" Jake asks me expectantly.

"What?" I ask. I must have zoned out or something totally random, either that or I was listening, just strategically ignoring.

"I asked you a question Sara?" Jake growls, and my wolf both purrs at the sound, and growls at the sign of a challenge.

"What?" I ask again.

"What what?" He asks and I sigh.

"What. Did. You. Ask. Me?" I say, articulating, as if he is a little child, even though I'm the one with the child mentality right now. I did not think this through very much.

"Sara. What did you do and why did you do it?" He asks through clenched teeth and I giggle and tap his teeth with my finger.

"Apparently," I drawled, "it's not exactly legal to pull a prank on a cop, even if you didn't know they were a cop." I finish with my hands twisting together nervously.

"What?" Jake asks, unusually calm. I'm screwed. I am so screwed he's gonna kill- wait. He can't kill me! I'm gonna live! Oh yeah. Oh yeah.

"It's not legal to prank a cop. That's exactly what Sam and I did. Unwittingly of course." I replied.

"Yeah. Obviously we didn't know," Sam began, "because otherwise we never would've pranked him."

"Obviously" he scoffed and I looked at Sam, who was looking at me.

You know what we did?

We burst into...

Tears...

Of joy and laughter. Why would we be sad?

We laughed until we were red in the face, and Sam was rolling on the groin with me.

"You do realize you are on the floor..." Jake said. We nodded.

"A prison floor..."

Again we nodded.

"Wear who knows how many people have been after being in the Trash".

Immediately we got up and started screaming. We can handle blood and garbage, but not the bugs in trash. Call us weird and we accept it. Call us girly and we kill you.

Jake was laughing at us.

Oh it's on.

Now it's a prank war,

And no one is safe.
