I turned my head and smiled at Richard.

"What's on your mind?" He asked as he stared up at the sky.

"A lot of things. I'm pretty sure I couldn't even say them all without you falling asleep." I told him.

I watched his dimples appear as he grinned and turned to look at me.

"Is that so?" He asked, rolling over on top of me, but putting his weight on his arms so he didn't crush me. He kissed my nose and I giggled.

"Yeah. It is. Now get off me you big oaf." I smiled.

"I'm quite comfortable here. Well, my arms aren't, but my eyes are. They love the view and so do I." He said.

I laughed and tried to sit up. He sat up part way as well.

"So tell me. What's on your mind?" He asked, looking genuine in his question.

"How you and I clicked instantly. How you aren't afraid to defy me. How you aren't treating me like I'm some great person. I mean seriously." I said running my hand through his shaggy dark hair.

"Well, the first thing I can't deny. Nor the second. The third, well, if you weren't then you'd be treated awful." He said, starting to laugh as he finished. I grinned, and looked at his eyes.

They were a really deep but bright green.

He jumped up suddenly, and held his hand out to me.

"What are you doing?" I asked as he suddenly pulled me closer to him.

"I'm dancing. I thought that much was clear." He said.

"Yeah. It is." I said as I rested my head on his shoulder.

Richard was only a little taller than me. Max 6 inches.

He was a year older too.

"We should get back." I heard him whisper.

"Probably. They're gonna think I killed you." I said with a smile.

"You did. You killed me, or my chance with any other girl." He said all cheesy like.

I Laughed pretty hard at that.

"Nice line provolone" I said with a smile.

I grabbed his hand, and leaned my head on his shoulder.

It took us a good 20 minutes to get back.

Kim's face was the first thing I saw. She wiggled her eyebrows when she saw our hands.

"So... what happened?" She asked, really eager to know.

I laughed.

FLASHBACK
************

I was running through bushes, jumping over logs, and dodging branches left and right.

Richard was one heck of a runner, I give him that.

"And he has a nice butt" Katy said.

"Shush you!" I told her. I heard her wolf like laugh resonate in my head.

"You were thinking it too! He has the speed to match an alpha. Like he was born to be one!" She said excited.

"Shut up. And yes. Yes it does seem that way." I said thoughtfully.

Suddenly I ran into him and he and I tumbled down the embankment towards the river.

There were mumbles of pain here and there, but there was a reasonable sound of laughter when we fell into the semi icy water.

"You must be blind as a bat. I was waving at you to stop. I even mimed it out." He said, grinning.

"Oh hush up. My wolf was complimenting your running speed. And your butt." I said with a chuckle.

"And what might she be saying?" He said with a adorable smirk.

"Wouldn't you like to know." I said through my giggles.

"Yeah, but for now, let's swim! Our clothes are soaked anyway... so let's hang them up to dry?" He said wiggling his eyebrows.

I grinned evilly.

"Sure. But I warn you. I've got killer abs." I said jokingly, pretending to be serious.

"Oh my gosh! No way! Me too! Let's compare!" He said with a girly voice.

I shrugged and tugged off my sundress that Sam had me wear.

He gaped. Clearly, he didn't expect me to truly have been willing to swim.

I mean who denies swimming? It's the bomb dot com.

I flashed him a cocky smile and he snapped out of it.

"Now strip to your knickers. I wanna watch." I said honestly, though with a laugh.

"Buy me dinner first!" He said, faking offense.

"Nah. Maybe later. Now strip Smith."

"As you wish Winters." He said and bowed. I laughed and watched eagerly as he got down to his boxers.

I myself was in a sports bra and underwear, but hey. This was fun.

"Now come here please!" I said grinning like a child.

"As you wish."

He came over to me and picked me up and grabbed my clothes and threw them on a boulder in the sun.

"Hey! Oh my gosh! If you drop me I will make sure not even your grandchildren new you were a boy." I said, holding onto him tighter.

He smiled.

"Then let's not dissapoint them shall we?" He laughed as he jumped back into the river, me still in his arms.

I squealed and kicked my legs, even though I knew it wouldn't do anything. Then splash!

He laughed and pulled me closer to him. I smiled.

"Buy me dinner first." I said, mimicking his words from earlier.

"How about tomorrow night then?" He asked bopping my nose.

I grinned.

"Maybe that'll work." I said laughing, then I feigned seriousness, "let me check my schedule." Pause. "Yeah. That'll work." I grinned.

"That's the best news I've heard today!" He said and whooped.

I smiled and swam away.

"Catch me if you can!" I yelled as I swam away. He grinned.

"I plan to princess!"

After that we swam around for a while, then laid down on the grassy meadow part of the ground and watched clouds.

PRESENT TIME

"So, you have a date. Tomorrow night?" Kim said with an evil glint in her eye.

I barely even had time to nod before she said some hogwash.

"Better start getting ready now!" She said and walked away, humming the wedding March song.

"Sometimes she confuses me." Richard said from behind me.

"Me too. Me too."
