"Naiintindihan ko kung bakit hindi mo pa sinabi kay Stacey." naiiling na komento ni Blake.
Nick chose a good spot in the latter's house. Sakto silang nakikita ng pamilya nila but hindi sila maririnig. Everyone was disappointed ng malaman na hindi nito kasama si Amara. He just told them na sinusumpong ito ng migraine. He can't keep what he is feeling inside him but he doesn't know if he will tell his wife about what happened. Nagdesisyon siya na kay Blake muna sabihin. He will understand where he is coming from dahil may mga anak din itong babae.
"Mas lalo akong hindi makakapag-isip ng maayos knowing how my wife will react. I can't explain in words how I feel. Ayaw ko na ding malaman if totoo ang sinabi ng lalaking yun." Nick hissed.
He is trying very hard not to let his emotions show on his face. Nararamdaman nito na sumusulyap sa kanila ang asawa. His wife knows him so well. Ayaw nitong makahalata ang asawa that something is bothering him. She already asked him if he's okay when he arrived an hour ago.
He changed his position so his left profile lang ang nakikita ni Stacey. Sinalinan ulit ni Blake ng alak ang kopita and he gulped it.
"Hinay-hinay sa pagtungga. Our wives are now both looking here." sabi ni Blake and Nick sighed heavily. "Sooner or later malalaman din ng asawa mo. So anong balak mo?"
"Hindi ko alam." Nick admitted while sounding helpless.
Tumango-tango si Blake. " But I have to say that I admire your future son-in-law, base from what you told me a while ago." he said with a chuckle .
Nick grunted but didn't say anything. Wala itong masabi because he himself is having mixed feelings. He knows that his wife is right. Sooner or later he has to accept the fact that some bastards will pursue their beautiful daughter. He may not entirely like Brad Lopez or any other fuck ass who would want Amara but..
"It's inevitable. If I were in your shoes, I would feel the same. Dalawa ang akin and just by imagining if the same thing happened to either Hope or Faith.." Blake flexed one of his biceps and with narrowed eyes, he continued speaking, "hindi pa naman ako kinakalawang. I will beat up those assholes. Lalo ka na, nag-iisa ang anak mo kaya I understand. But as I was saying, andiyan na yan. You can't kill your future-son.."
"Fucking hell ! Will you stop saying that!" inis na saway ni Nick na nagpatawa kay Blake.
With a grin, the latter said, " Seriously Nick.. hindi mo naman pwedeng patayin ang lalaking yun. Tama na yung nabugbog mo. I know about his father. Alam ko na na like us, gago din yun during his time. And him letting you just hit his son like that, must mean something. Alam siguro ng ama na seryoso ang anak kay Amara. Think about that Nick. And if totoong may nangyari na sa kanila, your daughter might even get pregnant soon.." Blake raised one of his hands as if in surrender nang magmura ulit si Nick and took the bottle from him para magsalin sa baso nito.
"Face reality! Posible yun! I think wala namang problema sa anak ni Lopez. Ang anak mo ang kausapin mo. You said that according to her ayaw niyang magpakasal. "
"That's what I don't fucking understand! Bakit siya sumama sa tarantadong yun kung hindi naman pala niya gusto?!" Nick rasped.
"Baka natatakot lang siya sa'yo kaya sinabi niya yun.May naisip ako na pwede nating gawin..."
Nick narrowed his eyes and said, " Ano yun? At this point, kahit ano gagawin ko para kahit papano maayos ito."
Tumango si Blake then called Kurt na kausap ng bunsong anak nila ni Heather.
