"HOLY SHIT!" Sci ran up to me practically screaming. I stepped back still being mindful that Goth was in my arms.

"What?" I looked at Sci skeptically.

"Classic didn't eat you alive, nice standoff," Sci seemed more excited than I was. I was just relieved that he seems to have no interest in harming Goth or me.

"Yea well he seemed to just lose all faith in his alts and went off to go get drunk," I shrugged.

"A better reaction than anyone expected, so good for you," Sci gave a playful punch onto my shoulder.

"'Anyone'?" That sounded a bit too suspicious for me.

"Yea.... we all kinda bet on how Classic would react. Kinda fun to see,"

"Gee, Thaaanks," Sarcasm saturated my words.

"You're welcome!" He gave a thumbs-up as he said that.

"Where is Classic anyway, has he passed out drunk in a closet or did he die already,"

"Pfft, nah. He's over there getting close to the first option, without the closet," Sci pointed across the room, where Classic sat against a wall only half conscious, probably awaiting his own demise. "Speaking of dying, where is Death? Shouldn't he be with you?" Sci gave a devious smile, making me uncomfortable.

"Dad said he'd be back after work, which should have been a while ago. I don't know beyond that," Goth spoke up, adding himself into the conversation.

"Oh?" Sci raised a figurative eyebrow.

"Yea, He's probably running around doing god knows what," I rolled my eyes, as I stated the obvious.

"Who's 'doing god knows what'?"

"Speak of the devil, and he shall come" I muttered knowing exactly who walked behind me. "So you finally decided to show up," I set Goth down, turning around and lo and behold, Death finally showed his face around here.

"Hey love, how you've been holding up without me?" He asked casually.

"Just peachy," I rolled my eyes, as I sarcastically answered. Sci, still standing next to me, took a sip from his mug and proceeded with his opening statement.

"So the elusive 'husband' finally shows up," Sci spoke nonchalantly.

"That indeed, so anything I missed?"

"Other than Geno having an intense stare down with Classic, not much," Sci continued his lackadaisical conversation and Reaper looking at me amusingly.

"What? He started ticking me off, and he insulted our son!" Reaper snickered at me.

"Yeah, you would do that," I crossed my arms in frustration, but Reaper just wrapped an arm around me pulling me close, kissing the side of my skull.

"Reaper, stop, not here," I mumbled in an annoyed tone.

"Aww, you know I love you," He kept persisting on, as I was pushing him away to little success. Sci, of course, had to witness all of that.

"Well aren't you two a pretty picture," Sci spoke as if this was a normal thing to occur.

"Is that what people call a problematic marriage these days?" I notice Reaper giving me a look that I'm not sure how to read, but I figure he wasn't pleased at me saying that. I looked at him insistently, assuring him that it was just a joke. He gave a weak smile and kissed my temple.

"Nah, you two seem pretty good," Sci interpreted.

"I'd like to think so, right love?" Reaper gave me an amused look.
