They followed Ash to the gym and were greeted by the Sabrina's students. "Hello and what may I do for you?" A young adult with glasses on asked. "Hello my name is Ash Ketchum and I am here for a gym battle!" The student nodded and took them to Sabrina. "Sabrina these kids want to have a battle with you!"

A slim figure came out and greeted them, but then stood wide eyed when she saw Ash. The boy she thought was dead, the boy that managed to bring her to her senses. "Go Alakazam!" A yellow psychic pokemon holding 2 spoons came out with a battle stance. "Go Rowlett!" Everyone but Lead was confused about the pokemon. "Ash what is that?" Sabrina asked pointing at Rowlett, "Its Rowlett, I don't know where he is from but I found him on a tree asleep." They shrugged it off and continued the battle. "Alakazam, use pystrike!" "Quick Rowlett use double team then brace bird." Rowlett made multiple copies of itself and avoided the attack then used brace bird, knocking out Alakazam. "WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING!" Sabrina yelled in terrror. Ash and everyone else just stood there with their jaws on the ground. Ash knew the pokemon was rare but fucking Arceus was this thing good. "Umm... Alakazam is unable to battle, Sabrina send out your final pokemon!" Sabrina then smirked and sent out Metagross. "Ash you won't beat my next pokemon!" Wth that Sabrina touched a bracelet on her wrist and mega evolved her metagross. "Now Metagross use zen headbutt!" Metagross launched itself but fainted as it felt something hard land on its back, it was a Rowlett who used sky attack. Sabrina just stood there, here eyes wide open. "I'm fucking done, here just take your fucking badge." Sabrina returned her Metagross and gave Ash the badge then left. Ash was stunned at the sheer power of this...thing! "Well...yay?"

They left the gym and Ash and the gang booked a stay at the pokemon center. There he called Professor Oak. After showing him the pokemon, the professor answered saying it was a starter pokemon from Alola. Ash nodded and went to his room with Leaf.
