Dear JonahToday was the day I met you. You looked nothing like I had imagined. You were tall and had a smile unlike any other. You were wearing a red flannel and ripped jeans with old shoes on your strong feet.
You were carrying a skateboard in your large hands with a satchel hanging over your left shoulder. You immediately told me you were lost as you pulled earphones out of your ears which was covered by the tufts of your curled ivory hair.
You didn't introduce yourself to me because you already knew it was me. You opened your arms and engulfed me as a bear would it's prey.
In that moment I felt my soul latch onto yours and I felt home in between your arms.Dear Jonah
