The care ride to Amber's home was what you could call, tense. She and her Mom tried to make conversation but I never said anything. I was to lost in my own train of thought. How could Amber forget? It might have been 5 years but it was to much to just forget.
"We are here!" Amber squeeled as we pulled into a long gravel drive way. I looked out the window and instantly recognized her house. I had figured she would have moved but now. Guess not.
I stepped out of the car and started to walk to the front door, then waited for Dian to unlock the door. I walked into the house and stared around blankly. It has been forever since I hve been in here, yet Nothing has changed. Nothing was different with Amber's family except for Amber herself. She use to been someone to hold a grudge over something so small. She would never let a subject drop. But she has forgotten?
"Amber show Hailey her new room." Dian said before disappearing around the corner. Amber walked to me and made a hand gesture for me to follow her. We walked upstairs and down the hall. We stopped outside of the third door in the hall.
"Since Amelia is at college you will get her old room. " Amelia is her older sister. She opened the door and waked in. "There are some clothes in the closet if you need them, which you probably do. Well if you been a shower its right across from your room so it won't be hard to find."
After she walked out I sat down at the foot of the bed. As I looked around I couldnt help but think this is My temporary room inside of My temporary home. One day I'll have to go out into the real worlds and face it by My self. But right now I had help. Temporary help.
