I AM NOT CRAZY

Life Was NEVER Worth Living.

   Where am I, this isn't the mental hospital? I looked around confused as I sat up in bed. Suddenly everything came flooding back. I was checked out of the hospital. I now live with My old ex-friends Mom. I say her Mom because Amber doesnt live here she was just here to help me get settled in. She was probobly at home now.

   I pulled back the covers and swung My legs over the side of  the bed. I walked toward the closet wich had some of Amber's clothes that I would be wearing for now. I didnt pay attention I just grabbed any shirt and jeans I could find. I walked to the bathroom and turned on the shower. I made sure that there was a towel nearby before stepping into the hot steaming water. 

   As I started washing My hair memories from whe I was a little kid came flooding back to me.

~Flashback~

  "You need to stop getting drunk! Do you think this helps Hailey?" My dad was screaming at My Mom. Everynight laightly she had been getting herself drunk. And now they were fighting.

   "Who cares!! Not Me!" She screamed back at him.  They were in the kitchen while on was in the living room. Tears started streaming down My face. I ran through the kitchen and upstairs still crying.

   "Hailey,no she didnt mean it!" My dad called after me. I closed My bedroom door and locked it. Sliding down to the ground. I could still hear My dads voice.

   "See what you Did!!! She is only Twelve !! And you have her crying cause she think you hate her!!"

   "Well good she deserves it!!" That was it, I couldnt take it anymore. I stood up and walked into My bathroom. I looked over to the sharp razor blade lying next to the sink.

   I picked it up shakily. I have cut before but had stopped cause stuff was getting better in My family. But I knew it was to good to be true. I lifted the blade to My wrist when My dad came through My bedroom and into My bathroom. It Did no good locking the door he had a key for all the rooms in the house.

   "Hailey just calm down." My dad said gently lifting me up off the floor. He caried me back into My bedroom and laid me on My bed. He hadn't notice that I was about to cut because I was able to put the razor back before he saw.

  He tucked me in and kissed My forehead. "GOOD night, Daddy loves you."

  "GOOD night, Hailey loves you too." I replied but I couldnt help but think at least one of My parents love me.

~End Flashback~

I turned of the faucet and stepped out of the shower wrapping the towel around me. I dried off and got dressed all while thinking: Life was NEVER worth living.
