He was lying on the sofa. Deen kept on giving him water, she knew him. He is an old friend of hers from high school, Darius is his name.
I heard a loud beeping sound coming from the power supply. We knew there's nothing we could do, except for searching for a new sanctuary.
At sun down Darius was up. We all started packing everything we thought we needed. Caitlyn and I made sure all foods, drinks and liquor was still good.
We filled the truck with the bike ,the foods and drinks and the small amount of furniture we needed. Darius and Deen was in charge of the truck and the two girls and I was in charge of the jeep.
Suddenly the whole house blacked out.
"That's our que to leave." I said.
We were driving along the road when my phone buzzed and screen lit up. "Ky can you quickly check that for me please?" She reached out towards my phone when it buzzed again. She unlocked the screen and asked, "Who's Christian?"
"Another friend," I answered.
"He says you should get him at High school Strand," she read out and I nodded.
"Send Deen a text and tell her we are heading that way," I said and her fingers typed away.
I connect my eyes with my sister's from the other car and I saw her nod her head.
We quickly changed route...
When we arrived at school we saw a zombie protected van standing inside the school gates. I drove in the school gates.
Christian stood outside his van, leaning against the car door. I got out the car and went to greet him.
"Hey!" He greeted with a smile and high fived me.
"Lil' bro, you do know we need a place to stay!" Deen came up to me and poked me in the chest.
"A place? I got a place, you can come to mine. It's pretty big," Christian shrugged, as if being rich is boring.
"That'll be awesome, thanks."
We arrived at his house aka mansion.
"Okay J-p, you and Kyla can have the western wing. Deen, you and Darius can have the eastern wing. Caitlyn with who do you want to be?" Christian said while handing each of us our wing's keys. "I want to be with Kyla and J-p." "Okay" he said handing Caitlyn her keys.
