The Call

I was sitting in my car sobbing after a huge fight with Nora when suddenly I got a call from Bradley. I was hesitant to answer at first since he kind of started this whole feud between me and Nora but I did anyway.
"Hey." I said sniffing away my tears.

"Hey Morgan, you okay? He says concerned.

"Yeah..just...never mind, why are you calling?"

"Cause you interest me."

"Look, Bradley, I really don't think it's a good idea that we get involved after what happened with Nora it's just to emotional and....."

"Morgan! That's not what I'm saying at all, I mean it would be fun to maybe date later on in our relationship but for now I just....need someone, a companion, most girls at our school think I'm a player because of what happened with Nora, and most of the guys at our school....well they're freshman so they act like freshman, I just need someone that's on the same emotional level as me."

"Wow, wow that was.....your not a brainless asshole."

"Oh well thanks."

"Sorry, that sounded bad but yes, I would like to have a relationship with you even if it's just friends."

"Just friends? Weren't you the one who just friend zoned me a few minutes ago?"

"Well, I don't know what you said made me emotional for some reason, I guess I also need someone who I can talk to that's also on my emotional level, as much as I love Nora she's so....I don't even know but your different your so...different."

"Well I guess we can try going out again, without Nora interrupting us."

"Yeah, sounds great, when?"

"Friday, movie, at 7:00?"

Wow, this is great! I'm finally going to have someone in my life that doesn't cause me a great deal of pain and I can talk to, I think my life is finally turning out, Nora's going to jail, I'm getting a boyfriend and I'm finally starting to feel happy again.
