We headed to our first class. There were seven other pilots there. We took a seat as the instructor began the class. " Welcome gentlemen. You are here because you are the best of the best. Only one percent of all pilots ever go to this school. You will be tested on what you have learned. At the end, hopefully all of you will have passed," " We are not here to babysit, you mess up it's your fault. Learn from mistakes. Men have died taking this school," My name is Colonel shard and I'm your commanding instructor for this school," " Sir Yes Sir," Yelled all the pilots in the room. Our class ended and we had homework so we went back to the barracks to do it. Wolf sat down and started flipping through the book. " Great we gotta learn all the new acronyms," complained Wolf. " Hey at least we are clones and not battle droids where crap is just programmed into our heads," said Striker happily. The acronyms were difficult but we learned them. We had a quiz on them the next day. Few past. We had a week of regular classes then our first test. " Fire and Badger, Dar and Autumn, Striker and North pole, Wolf and Frost, and Sunset and Snowbreak," yelled our instructor. We climbed Into the 2 seater d-9's and put our helmets on. Over the coms our instructor told us our objective. " First test is evasive actions," he told us. He went through the jets and finally it was Wolf and my turn. I flicked the engines on and they were much smoother then the jets we were used to flying. We took off and started our course. We performed barrel roles, hard stops, nose dives, and land n go. We went to class the next day and the instructor announced only frost, Wolf, Sunset, and Snowbreak passed the course. The next six weeks were not fun. We had a lot of studying and test. The food was awful and the sleep was bad. But finally, we were all on the flight strip.
