The instructor paced between all of us, he walked out in front of us and stood still. " PILOTS FROST, SUNSET, WOLF, STRIKER, SNOWBREAK, AND DAR. FRONT AND CENTER." Yelled the instructor. We walked over to him and stood at attention. " Congratulations Pilots. You are now officaly ARC pilots," He said proudly and handed us our diplomas. " As for the rest of you. You have had hard training and passed most of the class. We have decided to give you one more week to bring your score up," he yelled at them. It was the after party for the pilots who had passed and pilots who already passed. " Congrats Troopers. You are worthy of the title ARC," One man in a white suit said to us. It was a good party. Men were laughing and joking about the school. I noticed a man run up to the leading officer and hand him a piece of paper. " Dar and Snowbreak," he said as he handed them a piece of paper. " Sunset and Striker," " And Frost and Wolf. You guys are to depart immidatly for an emergency mission," We read the paper and knew what we needed to do. 6 hours later we were back on the command ship for our debriefing. " Listen up maggots. We have downed pilots in enemy territory. They are still alive but not for long. We need you to go out and rescue them. You have already been assigned your partners. Gear up and get out of here," Yelled the first Sargent. " Good luck soldiers," he said. We geared up into our ARC Trooper armor and climbed Into the jets. Our engines wooshed on and they began to rumble. " Turning on radar," said Wolf over the coms. We put more power to our engines and took off. " I am seeing 5 bogys at 105 miles bearing 006 at two hundred knots," "Roger that I have a visual on enemy aircraft. Be looking for any additional aircraft," Copy. Make sure to turn off coms so the enemy doesn't get our read on our battleship," I told the pilots. " copy that. Wolf out," " Sunset out, " " Striker out," " Snowbreaker breaking " " Dar offline,". Now it was time to put all of our training to the test. The enemy started firing machine gun rounds and we took evasive action. A few hit our jets but nothing severe. I found myself talking to myself. It wasn't unusual for pilots to do that. It still felt odd to though. Our engines burned hot as we raced through the air. My targeting computer locked onto an aircraft and I took the shot destroying the aircraft. The fight went on for about 34 minutes until Wolf tapped me on the shoulder and yelled. " WE ARE GETTING LOW ON FUEL," I nodded and got on my coms taking a chance. " Pilots we are getting low on fuel we have to," Then I heard screaming and looked to my right and saw Striker's jet was on fire and exploded. I couldn't believe it. I watched in shock and it seemed to last forever. Wolf grabbed my helmet and told me to focus and finish the battle. I gulped hard and gripped my jet stick. I pulled a hard right coming right behind an enemy. I didn't see the other jet behind me and it's gun rounds destroyed my targeting computer. I now had to rely on my training to take them out. I played it safe shooting my 25 cal machine gun hitting the engine making him crash. I was dangerously low on fuel. I heard my engines sputtering. We were done for. Next thing I see is an anti aircraft round flying into an enemy jet. I got back on my coms and heard that the clones had taken the enemy base and it was safe to land. We made an emergency landing and refuled. We flew back to the command ship and were awarded medals for our bravery. We lived happily ever after and got married and had loads of fun together.. ha no. We had many more deathly missions and lost many men. This is Frost, signing out.
