"She's already on her way to King Cosman's kingdom where she'll be safe inside his castle walls."
That was the last known words spoken by the king and queen of Misoldania. As for their daughter, she didn't make it exactly, the guards at the gates of the castle didn't let her escort, her nanny, in. Her nanny had to make a decision of what needed to be done with the princess. Her decision ended up being to take the girl to the orphanage where she still could grow up safely. She might be safe but she'll never know who she is.
