Shiro's POV
"What kind of idea are we talking about here hunk?" I question as I look down at Katie sleeping peacefully on the couch in the main hall.
"I know it might be bad but in the end it will save her from the cluches of zarkon and Hagar." Hunk told me as he put his hand on my shoulder.
"Shiro I know whats going on between you and Pidge I can tell cause you hang out with her a lot after we got her back from zarkon." I felt a small blush forming on my cheeks.
"You didnt hear anything right."I asked him. Hunk shook his head no. "No shiro everyone has been avoiding your room since we found out about zarkons hold on Pidge." Hunk told me with a sad look on his face.
"Yeah I'm not to happy about it either hunk but we can do something about it."I smiled at him. "Now tell me about this plan of yours."I look at him.
"Well what I was thinking is that we try to fry the chip enough so it won't work but thats really up to you."hunk said looking down at Katie.
"I would do anything to save her hunk but it won't hurt her right?"I ask. I knew the answer when I saw the look on hunks face."shiro it could kill her if we do this we cant just open up her prosthetic arm and take it out that would be hard."
I nodded and pinches the top of my nose signing."what are the chances of her living threw this." I say as I look up at hunk again."almost slim but we all know Pidge she's a fighter she can push threw."hunk said proudly.
"Alright hunk let's do this."I picked up Katie again and followed hunk to the operation room. I than set her down on the table and watches hunk set everything up.
I felt my nerves start to get the best of me. What if she doesn't make it. What if I wont see her beautiful eyes again. What if....what if....
The feeling of my cheeks getting wet brought me out of my thoughts. I reach up and touches my cheek. Am I crying?
Hunk looked over at me when he was done and questioned why I was crying. I just tell him it was hot in this room and that I was sweating.
"I'm ready shiro this is the last time I'm going to ask you this, are you sure you want me to do this." I nodded again not trusting my voice anymore.
Hunk looked at me for a few minutes before grabbing the nessasry tools he needed to use to fry her chip. He took a deep breath before putting the hot metal against the chip placement under her arm.
Suddenly she woke up and screamed in pain as the nerves in her prestetic are reacted. Tears running down her cheeks."h-hunk p-please s-st-stop!!!!!"she screams in pain.
I felt a pling in my heart, I started to regret agreeing to let him destroy that chip in her arm I cant live without her. Once her cries of pain stopped I knew she passed out.
My heart started to race once she and stopped I look down at her. Her cheeks were drenched in tears, her face looked pained from all of her nerves being on fire.
I looked at hunk as he grabbed some tweasers and put it in the hole he made pulling out the now fried chip controlling her.
I instantly went to Katie shaking her a bit."baby come on you can. wake up I know you can."I look up at hunk being worried.
"Shiro just trust her, she's as strong as you so just take her to your room."I nodded and picked her up in my arms and walked to my room my heart feeling like it was going to break.
I set her on my bed and covers her up than sits next to her comb my fingers threw her hair just hoping with all my might that she will live and that everything will go back to normal.
I must have feel asleep cause the next thing I was doing was opening my eyes seeing that I had cuddled myself against her limp body.
I signed into her next I want her to be with me forever but I can't do that if she doesn't live. I let a few tears run down my cheek.
I watched as they laded on her neck and slide down the my black sheets. I held her prosthetic arm in my prosthetic hand over the hole.
I saw a little bit of glowing I moved my hand and saw that the hole was closed a bit so I put my hand back over it and kissed her shoulder smiling lightly.
There was a big flash of black light before a big gasp. I smile more and hugs her close to me tears running down my face fast.
"Shiro."i hear her whisper holding into my arm tightly."why would you hurt me like that."I sign softly but answered her question.
"I wanted you to be free of zarkons hold my love I was just worried about you."I say into her hair.
"Shiro you dont have to worry so much about me I know you do many things to show how you love me."Katie shifted and looked at me and gently put her hand on my cheek.
I smile at her and gently kisses her lips."I love you so much Katie." I saw her sweet smile making me blush slightly.
"I love you too shiro with all my heart."katie said while we lied there on my bed.
