Shiro's POV
I was the first one to wake up. I bring my arm up and rubbed my eye. I felt Katie move. She rolled over and snuggled herself into my chest.
I blushed deeply but I put my arm back around her waist. I smile to myself seeing her sleeping state.
I laid there for a while before she started to mutter in her sleep. I leaned closer to listen.
"Shiro."
"Shiro.....why?"
"SHIRO NO!!!!!" she cried out. I saw tears start to fall from her closed eyes. I frown wondering what she was dreaming about.
I whip her tears away and leaned closer to her ear and whispered. "Katie its ok I'm still here I'm never going to leave you.....never."
I gently kissed under her ear down to her lips gently pecking them so she'd calm down.
I feel her body relax back against mine. Her tears stopped as well. I smile again and held her closer to me, holding the back of her head.
Soon after I hear a knock on my door. I move slowly not to wake up Katie and went to see who it was.
"Shiro we need to talk." Allura said in a serous tone. "Alright."I said confused. "Meet me in the main hall in a few minutes."After that she left.
I walked over to Katie and pulled my blankets up to her neck and kissed her head. I got dressed and went to the main hall.
"What is it you needed allura." I look at her. "I'm afraid that pidge's new arm isn't in any good terms." my eyebrows frown.
"What are you trying to say allura. That my girlfriend arm wasn't taken like mine and replaced with another to not be good." I snapped back at her.
"Shiro listen to me, while she was in the healing pod it detected a chip in her prostatic arm that will change her completely." Allura explained.
"So what are we supposed to do about it. The only one smart enough to take it out is the one who has the chip." I clench my fist in anger.
"Shiro calm down you dont have that chip cause you escaped before they could put it in yours!"
"So thats why we need to be prepared to when they decide to activate the chip. You will also have to keep a close eye one her." Allura said and looked up at me.
"Shiro I know this is hard on you but you need to understand if they do activate it and were not ready she'll take us down and take all the lions to zarkon." Allura tells me.
"I-i understand but its a bit hard to take in." I look down at my hands. "I know it is shiro but trust me you will understand it soon enough."
"Shiro she was put threw the same thing you were the ring the torture but they have to have a good reason for just letting her go like that." Allura explained.
I nod and signs a bit before hearing foot sets. I look back to see Katie wrapped in my blanket while rubbing her eye.
"What are you guys talking about."she mutters sleepily while coming over and sitting next to me then cuddles into my side. Obviously still tired.
I gently put my arm around her waist pulling her closer and kissing her messy hair.
"Pidge."Allura started. "We're talking about your arm, while you were in the healing pod..."she paused for a moment before continuing.
"I found a chip in your arm."
