Chapter 16

I panicked and flailed. I realized i was in Darren's room. I looked up to see Darren. I flipped him off.

"What the fuck happened," I asked.

"I scared you."

"Well I blacked out."

"Im sorry," he said embracing me in a hug. Then he kissed me. I blushed.

"My Aunt went to work and its 6:00am so you have I go to school," he said.

"Im dropping out," I growled. "I want to start a band. Remember when we would put on fake concerts for our parents in my garage?"

"Yeah. You were a good singer."

"Well I want to stop going to school and make a band and I want you to be in it."

"Okay, what about Riley and that chick Arlen you told me about?"

"Arlen is mad at me. And I don't even know if Riley wants to talk to me."

"Why," he asked wrapping an arm around my shoulder.

"She likes me and im with you. I didnt like telling her no. Although i just want to stay her friend."

"Look she'll understand of you tell her your with someone else. You just said no in which she thinks you hate her."

"Thats a good point Darren. Ill call her and tell her to come over."

"Okay," Darren said. "Im going to get a shower. Ill be out in 10 minutes."

"Okay."

I pulled out my phone and texted Riley.

L: Hey Riley

R: wht do u want

L: I haven't seen you in a while and i want to hang out. Maybe Darren can come.

R: That sounds fun. Is it still at his aunts house.

L:Yeah she has a pool. We can go swimming. an early end of the damned school year party.

R: Okay. What time do you want me over.

L: How about now? Darren should be done in the shower now so we'll get changed and get the cover off.

R: Okay see you then :)

I put down my phone and Darren came out in shorts and no shirt. He had a six pack. ;) I blushed and tried to ignore it by playing with my phone case.

"Riley is coming over to swim in a few minutes. We have to get the cover off."

"Okay," Darren narrowed his blue eyes at me. "I want to dye my hair Loren."

"Awh. Why?"

"Like I just want to make it black with seafoam green in it."

"That will be cool. I like mine but i need I get it re dyed. We can go tomorrow."

"Okay now lets go get that cover off! Im hot!"

We both headed down stairs and into the back yard. He kissed me on the nose and chuckled. I hugged him and we both pulled off the cover. I heard Riley's car pull up in the driveway.
