It all happened quite slowly... Escalating each day. The kidnapping began as an irrelevant thing to most people, But that changed after the government collapsed too. Then people began to panic, and the kidnapping became more and more frequent until you could just be walking down the street and you'd see people being picked off one by one. You can't walk alone on the streets anymore, people stay shut up in their houses so pretty much anyone in a car is a kidnapper.
