"Theo. Stay in the car." Stefan told me. I sighed. "You woke me up to say that?" I groaned. Stefan smiled. "We'll be right back." I nodded and curled up in the backseat. "Hey dad?" I had a sudden thought. He turned to me. "Yeah?" I closed my eyes. "If we're in California, can you convince Klaus that no matter what, we can't go to Beacon Hills? That place...I can't be there..." I breathed. He nodded sympathetically. "Of course. Now sleep." He walked away. "Theo...." a boy's voice reached my ears. "Huh?" I sat up, the blanket around me falling from my shoulders. "Theo...come here..." I slowly opened the car door and stepped out. "Theo..." I heard the voice again and I followed it. I walked further and further from the car and deeper into a thick wood of trees. "Hello?" I called softly. "Hello Theo. Long time no see." My blood ran cold. "Aiden." I turned to see not just Aiden, but his twin Ethan standing behind me. "You were supposed to die a long time ago." Aiden tilted his head. "At least now you'll put up a better fight than you would have at eleven years old." Aiden pointed out. Ethan was eerily quiet. "I wouldn't if I were you, Aiden. I'm not alone." I warned him, backing away. "Is that true?" Aiden asked. Ethan put a cautionary hand on his brother's arm. "Aiden....if he's not alone..." Ethan's words were lost on his brother, who stepped closer to me. "One word and they will come and rip your heart out. I only need to say the word..." I backed up more. "Who did you come with?" Ethan asked. "My vampire father and my Original hybrid uncle. Stefan Salvatore and Klaus Mikaelson." I held my chin high. "No." Ethan's eyes widened in horror. "Aiden let's go." Aiden glared at his twin. "What are you so scared of Ethan!" He shouted at his brother. "The fact that the most feared, predatory creature is in walking distance of us and your threatening his nephew! Do you know how much danger we are in?! If you even touch him you are as good as dead!" Ethan yelled desperately. Aiden's eyes widened. He glared at me. "You put this town at risk!" He snarled. I held my hands up in defence. "Your fault for hunting me down." I pointed out. Aiden bared his fangs at me. "Theo?" Stefan's voice called in the distance. I smirked. "Saved by the ripper." Ethan grabbed Aiden's hand. "Let's go. He's not worth it." Ethan told his brother. Aiden glanced at me. "Cameron died for him. He is worth something." Aiden said before the twins vanished. I ran back to the car and was embraced by my father, who was covered in blood. ............................ We were in a clearing that was being used as a wolfs den. Klaus had killed all the wolves after forcing them to drink his blood. "Was that all necessary?" I inquired. He shrugged. "I like the drama. Makes them squirm." He smirked. I rolled my eyes. The first one, Ray, stirred. "Ahh, Ray. Nice to see you awake." Klaus drawled. "Maya! Come feed your boyfriend." Klaus beckoned to a young girl who obediently came and held out her wrist to Ray. He latched on and his eyes glowed golden. "Nik. Grab him." I said urgently. Klaus glanced at me. "He's going to turn!" I hissed. Klaus's eyes widened and he grabbed Ray's wrists in restraint. I also stood and pushed Ray down, pushing Klaus down with him. Damn these hybrids...I thought angrily.
