(The cast is who I envision them as, as you see Violet in the cover by the hair... Haha :) and by the look-alike younger version picture I've included on the right for "Ronnie Radke for Lucas, because I absolutely love that picture :D xD That's basically the reason I said Ronnie Radke! Just wanted to say that before the story started, and enjoy!)

Chapter One

Have you ever known the feeling being thrown out on your hands and knees, with nowhere to turn to; nothing on your back except the clothes you wear? I thought not. Oh, maybe I should mention what happened a few weeks earlier... I'll let you dive into my mind a little bit.

My cell phone rings. I reach for it in my blue jeans pocket, and look at the Caller ID. It's John again, probably wondering how my day's been going. It's only 10 a.m. though so I haven't been doing much. I shrug it off and answer the call, putting it up to my ear.

"Hey John, what's up?" I smiled into the phone.

"Uhm, nothing much. Hey, listen. I need to talk to you about something." He replied, sounding sort of tense.

"About what?"  Oh this doesn't sound good...

"Things haven't been good lately for us. I don't think it's going to work out. I'm sorry, Violet. It's just... It's not you. It's... Everything. You'll find someone else. I'm sure of it. Don't cry about us. There's just been no... Passion, no emotion. No love.

Goodbye, I'll miss you. But I'm sure I'll see you around at school, around town. Farewell, love."

I sat in my room, wide-eyed as he hung up the phone on me. I dropped my phone and after a few moments of silence the phone mono-toned the message to me, "If you would like to make a call, please hang up and try again."

I reached for it on the floor and pressed the "End" button, and threw it on my bed. My parents weren't home so I couldn't talk to them. I didn't know what to do... My friends were all friends with John, so I couldn't talk to them because they would all report to him. I was all alone.

That's basically what happened, what had led me to being depressed, grade's tanking in those weeks, and I started to act crazy. That's when my parents started yelling, and when my report card came home it didn't get any better.

"You have all F's Violet! What is this?! You've been acting crazy, and depressed, you won't talk to us! What is with you...?" My dad turned to me, his eyes trained to mine in a fiery gaze, his hands sort of hooked like claws, in desperation.

My mom was a few feet behind him, being quiet but looking very angry. I couldn't really find the right words to say to him, I was scared of what he would do.          "J-John broke up with me. I didn't know what I was going to do... I'm sorry... I'll just catch up, in the next few weeks, I-"
