Just Shut Me up!

Chaper 3: "The enemy"

I look up at Aria’s friends waiting for them to give me some sort of friendly smile.
"who the hell is this Aria? " "fresh meat?" the girl with the pixie cut says. fresh meat? I hope she means fresh as in new and not a person to pick on. "This is Fiona,  and yes she's new" "Don't worry she's a senior like us." the two twin girls look at me at the same time.

The girl with the blonde hair smiles and bats her huge eye lashes. "Nice to meet you Fiona, my name is Stacy." I smile back thankful to see that's she's friendly. I look over at her twin. She frowns at me and then looks at Aria. "Don't mind my sister, " Stacy says "she's just not use to new people." she smiles and the lifts up the lid to her lunch.

"My name is Austin" the guys with the brown hair says. He smiles and gives me a slight wink. "Nice to meet you." I say back to him. "Like Stacy said don't mind her sister." he laughs. "lacy is cold hearted to everyone."

Lacy and Stacy. I'm not surprised that their names rhyme. I lift my lid to my lunch and almost fainted. The food looked so good!

We all began to eat and listen to the birds chime around us. "So what's your next class fiona?" Arial says with food in her mouth.  "I have gym next."

"Good luck with that, the gym teacher here is a straight asshole." Austin says while pushing up his glasses. "All he does is yell in everyone's faces and try to make you do the impossible. like climb a rope in 3 seconds."  "Glad I took gym last year and passed."

I frown and look over at Aria. She gave me a reassuring smile. "Don't worry,  you'll survive. " she says. "how about after school we show you around the city?"

"Yeah! We could totally show you the hot spots of California!" Stacy says with excitement.

"That would be great. "I say back to them. "But I have to be home by 9pm or my dad will flip out." They all look at me with a confused look.

"Wait, you have a curfew?" says lacy while laughing. "Most people our age don't need to have parents telling us when to come in."

"Well I'm still 17 and I still stay under his roof." I say back. "His roof his rules."

"Leave her alone Lacy." Austin says. "Shes just a good girl, unlike you." He laughs.

"Whatever loser." lacy glares at Austin and me.  I laugh a bit and continue to eat my lunch. Suddenly the bells rings.

"That was great!" Aria says while rubbing her stomach. "Make sure to meet us after school Fiona. We will meet you in front of the school by the sign."

I nod and smile. They all wave goodbye and I start to walk to my other class. I started to think about what Austin told me about the gym teacher. Im pretty athletic but I know I cant climb a rope in 3 seconds

I walk through the gym doors and see other students already in their gym clothes sitting on the bench. I'd figure I would have gym so im glad i brought shorts and a top.

I went to the locker room and walk into a stall to change. Suddenly I Hear the locker room door open.
"Did you see that new girl walk into class today?" a girl says. "She looked like she bought all her clothes from a thrift store." another girls says while laughing. "Yea, shes the poor girl my dad helped get into this school." another girl says.

Poor girl? My family may be having money issues but were not poor. We still have a roof over ours heads. I push open the door and looked at the girls who were talking crap about me.

My eyes went straight toward the girl standing between the other two girls. She had on a mini skirt and a tube top. Her hair was long brown and wavy. Just by looking at her I could tell everything was fake about her, mostly her fake boobs.
