Just Shut Me up!

Chapter 6: "Creatures Lie Here"

I wake up with sweat dripping down face, I look around and everything in my room was normal. Who was that man? why did he tell me we were meant to be together? Maybe it was just some weird fucked up dream. This is all just confusing to me. I get up and put my house shoes on and walk to the bathroom. I need to get ready for school.

“Knock knock. Can I come in?” Kimberly says through the bathroom door. “Hold on just a second.” I say back. I need to cover up this wound on my neck. The damn band aid must have fell off last night. I take my bathrobe off the door and put it on. Making sure the top was up to cover my neck. “Come in.” Kimberly opens the door and peeps her head in. “Your going to be late if you dont hurry.” “Dad cant take you to school today, so I will.” I pick up my tooth brush and start brushing me teeth. I nod my head and use my other free hand to brush my hair brush.

Kimberly takes the brush from my hand and gives me a smile. She starts to brush her hair next to me. My sister truly is beautiful. I think she looks ten times better then me. She looks exactly like our mother...Long black hair, Tan golden skin, light green eyes. Guys swoon over her all the time. She has beauty and the brains. If only I could switch lives with her. Shes always had it easy going when she was in high school. Graduated top of her class and got a full ride at U of M Ann Arbor... Its to bad she had to give that all up and move here with us....

“Come on, dont want you to be late.” Kimberly stops brushing her hair and leaves the bathroom. I go back to my room and put my clothes on. I still cant shake that dream. Should I really go to the gym and see if someone really shows up.

All of this is really racking my brain. I grab my books and run down stairs. I just cant wait to get into class and take my mind off of all the things that happened yesterday.

I look out the window down stairs and already see that my sister is in the car waiting. I guess I have to lock up the house.

I grabbed my keys off the key hook in the kitchen and headed out the door.

It had only taken us 10 minutes to reach my school. “Have a good day Fiona, try not to stay out late again. ok.” Kimberly gives me a soft smile. “Dont worry, I wont this time, If something comes up again, i’ll shoot a text.” I say back softly.

“Alright, now get the hell out my car before your late.” Kimberly laughs. I get out the car and walk toward the building.

Class didnt start for another 10 minutes. I raced up the stairs to the forth floor  to put my extra books in my locker. I looked ahead at my locker to see Aria Standing in front of it.

I straighten up my posture and try to put on a smile. Just because I feel like hell doesnt mean I have to look like it.

“Hey Fiona!” Aria says while wrapping her arm around me. “Last night was fun wasnt it?”

“Yeah, It was awesome, cant wait to do it again sometime.” I try to smile but I could only pull a half one.

I turn to my locker to put some of my books away. Still thinking about that weird fucked up dream.

"Are You ok Fiona?"...Aria Looks at me with an intense look. "You seem like something is bothering you."

"Me?" I laugh. "Im fine, trust me."

Suddenly Aria’s eyes open wide. “What happened to your neck?!” she yells. Shit. I  forgot to cover my neck back up. I cover it with my hand. “Nothing, just a bug bite, nothing serious.” “We better hurry up and get to class.”

I grab my English book and start to walk down the hall. I really dont want anyone worrying about me or what happened. Its best to keep it to myself.
