Just Shut Me up!

Chapter 7: "Reality"

A dragon....Vampires. This all has to be some twisted joke Aria just came up with. There's no way that creatures like that are real. I step back away from her and look at her closely. 

"If you're a dragon or whatever, why do you look human?" I say to her. "Most dragons I see are on kid shows as animated beings!" 

Aria lets out a sigh and walks toward me. "I take the form of a human to hide my identity, I have to blend in you know..." Aria then walks over to the class room door and listen to the sounds coming from the hall. "I'll explain everything to you shortly, but for now, we have to leave school." 

Is she nuts? Leave school early? If my dad finds out I skipped the rest of school, he would kill me. I open my mouth to protest against it but aria slams her hand over my mouth and drags me outside the classroom. We walked really fast, passing all the classrooms that are in session. My mind is still racing from all of this. Dragons...vampires....Is this even reality?

We reach the back entrance to the school and go through the exit doors. Toward the back parking lot, I see Austin's limo driver waiting beside a black car. We rush over to the car and the doors open up. It's Austin.  

"Well hello there beautiful ladies, hop in, I made it just in time." He says. We get in and soon the car takes off.  

"I can finally explain now..." Aria says while looking at me. "As I said, I am a dragon and lover boy is a vampire." I look over at Austin. "I'm still confused, this is a lot to take in."  

"So you're like...a Mythical creature?" I sit back and stare at her. "Yes," She says. "In a way."  

"I was born thousands of years ago and I try to live my life among humans." She looks out the window. "It's not like I can walk around in my true form, so I had two witches cast a spell on me so that I can turn into a human girl whenever I please." She smiles. "Its kind of awesome when you think about it."  

Wait hold the phone, did she just say witches?  

"Witches?" I say to her. "So you mean to tell me that there are witches too?" Austin laughs and leans in closer to me.  

"There are far other things that exist in this world beside humans you know." I look at him. "He's right." Aria says. "Like I said, the world isn't as it seems to be." I swallow the spit in my mouth and look at the both of them. "Are you human Austin? Or are you a dragon too?"  

Austin laughs again and slaps his knee. "Me? A dragon? Oh no sweet face. I'm not human either...though sometimes I wish I were."  

"Once we arrive at our destination, I'll show you what I am." He smiles at me. I actually forgot to ask where we were going. But at this point, I really don't wanna know. I'm still trying to process all of this news.  

The car ride was silent. We soon arrive at a big mansion. My eyes widen at the site. "Whose house is this..?" I say softy. "This is my house of course." Austin says while smiling. The car stops and austins driver gets out to open our doors. I step out and gaze at the site of this mansion.  

Austin gestures his hands toward a path way for us to walk up. We walk in silence. I look around and take in this beautiful site.  

We step in the house and Austin leads us to his living room. I sit down on his fancy couch. Damn what I would give to be rich like him....lucky bastard.  

"So whats the deal with this vampire guy then?" I say softly. "Why did he tell me that we were gonna fall for each other..." Aria lets out a sigh.  

"Fiona, Xavier isn't just a normal vampire, he is half incubus as well." She says. "An incubus is a demon that feeds on souls and temps people through sexual activity."  

"Basically, hes a man whore half breed that feeds on girls souls and blood." Austin says. "Aria was right for taking you away from the school." "Hes probably after you now."  

"He was tempting you Fiona, trying to take your life." Aria says angrily. "And im not going to let him take my new friend away." Aria slams her fist into her hands. "I'll kill that bastard if he tries anything again!"  

Take my blood?...my soul?...I cant bealive this. To think that I almost..gave into him. I start to shake. I sit back on the couch and try to calm myself. "Im going to stay clear of that guy in school now." I say. "But what about my dreams?" "He appeared in my dreams and told me he was going to meet me today after school to explain things."  

Austin crosses his arms. "Well theres not much we can do about that, maybe we can get the twins to cast a spell to help with that?" Austins says while looking at aria. Aria nods her head and pulls out her cell phone. She gets up and goes into the other room to call them.  

"Wait, the twins are witches?" I say to him. Austin laughs and nods his head. "This is amusing teaching you all of these new things." "They are indeed witches, and their mother was the witch that casted a spell on Aria so that she may shape shift."  

"wow.." I say to him softly. Witches, dragons, and vampire half breeds. What else is there to find out. Duh, I forgot to ask Austin what he was.. 

"So Austin, are you finally gonna tell me what you are?" I stare at him. He smiles and puts on his hand for me to grab. "Follow me Fiona, out to my garden."  

I take his hand and follow him outside. We step out through his back doors and enter and beautiful rose garden. My mouth went wide open. "Its beautiful Austin..."  

He smiles and lets go of my hand. "Are you ready to see what I really am?" I nod my head and look at him. Austin steps forward in front of me, he looks back and smiles. As he smiled, he takes off his shirt. My face turned red. What the hell is he doing?... 

I look at him and wings burst out of his back!!!!!! "Woah!!" I say loudly. The wings created a gust of wind that almost knocked me down. They were huge and black with a crimson red outline. "Y-You're an angel?" I say softly. He smiles and turns toward me.  

"Not just any angel, A fallen angel my dear." He says with a smile.
