The Indecisive Heart

Chapter 13

》Later that day《

~Baekhyun~

While leaving the class you had an uneasy feeling after noticing Li Mei was gone. Grabbing Eunji's arm you pull her closer and continue to look for Li Mei,  you knew she wouldn't just give up like that. Nervous, you rush home and securely lock everything, there was no way you would put your guard down.

~Eunji~

"Oppa why are you putting us on lock down, is something wrong?" Baekhyun ignores you and keeps checking the windows, you could tell he was deep in thought. Going upstairs you see Junseo in your room. "Junseo why are you here?" He looks down then back at you, "Noona... No matter what I say you have to listen" you sit next to him and nod. "Baekhyun... he left for a reason." You get up but he pulls you back down. "You agreed to listen. Baekhyun... lost his parents that day he disappeared. A gang came and destroyed everything, he had to get his sister and take care of her but eventually she died too. Noona he only has us." *they all died?* in shock you say nothing and walk back down with watery eyes. Baekhyun yells from far away, "I'll be back I need to check something outside."  Trying to control your thoughts you go to the couch but hear a knock on the door. Slowly opening it you see Kris standing there, "Eunji-ah mianhae." Kris leans down and kisses you, you pull away and slap him then slam the door.

~Baekhyun~

As Kris turns around you punch him causing him to fall , "What the hell do you think you're doing?! You keep putting Eunji into danger! Are you trying to get her killed?!" Not even a second later Kris gets a text, while reading it he drops his phone and runs, you pick it up and read the text, *I saw everything. You're going to regret that. * Quickly going inside you lock the door and run to Eunji's room but when you open the door she's not there. You search the house to find out she's not there.

Unable to think you snuck out and went for a walk, looking at the sky you felt a little peace in your confused heart. Before you knew it the Sun was going down, you turned around and started walking back home but as you got closer you saw Baekhyun yelling and running towards you. Turning your head you saw head lights shining on you and a car speeding at you, behind the wheel was Li Mei.
