"why do i even hire you guys? this is like the 17th time a customer has complained and it's thursday." JYP sighed. bambam felt like laughing as he watched their boss consider his life choices. yugyeom noticed and tapped his thigh in warning, but a small smile was also pulling at his lips.
"i would fire you, but no one else wants to work here anymore. so you idiots, i'm begging you, to do your damn job better."
"will you pay us more?" mark asked hopefully.
"get out, go work. i'm like 80 i don't have the energy for this." JYP replied, waving his hand.
"but he has energy to make out with someone?" jackson said, soft enough for only the 7 of them to hear. they snickered and went back to the employee's room to change. it was already 9 in the evening, the store was supposed to be closed an hour ago. (let's just say starbucks closes at 8) they changed out of their uniforms and grabbed their bags before leaving.
"hey yugyeom, let's go shopping. we still need to get you clothes for the party." bambam said to him as they walked out the shop.
"oh, was that today?" yugyeom asked, checking his watch. that drama he was currently obsessed over was gonna start in like 30 minutes and it takes 20 to get home. bambam tugged on his arm and made puppy eyes. yugyeom felt his face heat up as the shorter man decreased their gap in one step.
"okay okay, i'll go. but aren't many shops closed? it's kinda late." yugyeom pointed out, obviously hoping to get out of a shopping trip with bambam. clearly, luck wasn't on his side.
"i know a perfect place to shop. come on, it's just a few streets down." bambam hummed in delight as he pulled yugyeom along. the others waved at them, smirking. yugyeom glared at them as best as he could while being dragged away by an excited bambam who would probably max out his allowance for the week.
"for the last time, i am not wearing lace." yugyeom yelled as he ran away from bambam who was chasing him with the lace pink suit he had chosen.
"come on! it's cute!" bambam protested as he panted. yugyeom gave him the 'you kidding?' look before he pried the suit out of his hands and hung it back on the rack.
"at least something sensible! it's a party with rich people, not some strip club. lisa, help me." yugyeom pleaded as the thai lady looked at them in amusement. she was the owner of the shop, along with her best friends, jisoo, jennie and chaeyoung. she was also another one of bambam's childhood friends in thailand and moved here to get a good job.
"you guys look like a cute couple." jennie spoke up, grinning cheekily.
"not helping noona!" yugyeom replied as he picked up the other outfits bambam had made him try on from the floor. he dusted them off and hung them back on the racks as bambam continued looking through the clothes.
"he'd look good in leather. or maybe silk." chaeyoung said, pointing at the section with the right clothes. bambam looked up and grinned.
"you, my friend, have a good eye." bambam said as he picked out a black leather jacket and a black cotton shirt. he held them out and yugyeom ran to take them.
"hold these." bambam said as he picked a pair of
black skinny jeans and a thin black belt to go with it. yugyeom thought he was going to attend a funeral with that outfit. bambam seemed to have read his mind."don't worry, you look good in black. and it's a safe option to go with. go try them on while i pick my own outfit." bambam shooed him into the changing room and closed the door. yugyeom sighed and got to work changing.
"how'd you guys meet?" lisa asked as she watched bambam pick out his clothes.
"work. he's the newbie." he replied as he picked out a blue dress shirt. he held it up for the girls to judge.
