yugyeom woke up at 6 am the next day. 6 fucking am. he groaned in frustration as he bundled himself up in his covers and tried to get back to sleep. but of course his body decided he didn't need it so he was left scrolling through instagram till 7 am when he finally dragged his lazy ass out of bed. he stumbled out of the bathroom, fully dressed in his work clothes and hair neatly styled. he checked his phone for the time. 7:49. fuck. he had 11 minutes to wear his shoes, take the bus and get to work. and pack that ridiculous outfit bambam had bought him. he nearly forgot. he face palmed as he ran to get a bag to stuff the clothes in before running to wear his shoes. he knew 'work started when they wanted it to' according to jaebum, but he didn't like being late. it just wasn't his thing. he slipped on his nicest pair of shoes, which were some loafers his mom had made him buy for a wedding. he then ran out the house and to the bus stop. thankfully, the bus had arrived and yugyeom struggled to catch his breath as he sat on the bus, a few people staring at him weirdly as he panted. a message made his phone vibrate in his pocket and he pulled it out to check.

yugyeom grinned as he plugged in his headphones. he had been thinking way too much about the thai man these few days. the bus stopped opposite the cafe and he got off before crossing the road to his job. there were already some customers inside. jaebum and bambam were on barista duty while youngjae was on cashier duty. he could see jinyoung and mark chatting while jackson was cleaning up some tables in the corner. uh oh, he was the last one at work.

"hey yugyeom." youngjae greeted with a smile.

"hey youngjae hyung! i'm sorry i'm late!" yugyeom apologised with a blush as he bowed deeply. youngjae laughed and ruffled his hair.

"no biggie, you're not on duty anyways. go get changed." youngjae replied. yugyeom nodded and rushed into the break room and sighed in relief as he didn't get scolded. youngjae was probably his favourite hyung there, apart from bambam. and maybe jinyoung, he had protected yugyeom from that rude guy once. he pulled on his apron and clipped on his name tag before walking out again. there were more people walking in now, the cafe was buzzing with the sound of their talking and laughter. everyone seemed to be in a good mood today. maybe it was because of the party.

"hey mark hyung, why are we opening so early today?" yugyeom asked as he sat down next to him.

"oh hey yugyeomie. we're planning to close early later since we're going for the party." mark replied.

"does JYP know?" yugyeom asked, slightly worried.

"what's he gonna do about it? he can run the shop himself if he wants."jackson replied with a grin and yugyeom laughed.

"anyway, how was shopping with bambam last night? had fun?" mark asked, eyebrows wiggling comically. jinyoung smirked and wrapped his arm around yugyeom's shoulders.

"you can tell us maknae. nothing's too embarrassing among us." he said smugly. yugyeom blushed deeply and buried his face in his sleeves.

"hyungggggggg stop. we just went shopping at his friend's shop, that's it." yugyeom whined.

"he has a friend that owns a clothing shop? damn, i wanna go there. i need new clothes." jackson said, pulling at his shirt.

"oh yeah, i've been there once. they're really nice. lisa, chaeyoung, jisoo and jennie right?" mark said.

"yup. they saved me from a disaster of an outfit, courtesy of bambam." yugyeom said.

"let me guess. pink?" jinyoung asked.

"how'd you know?" yugyeom, jackson and mark asked all at once.

"he picked the same for me and jaebum when we went shopping too. he needs to stop." jinyoung stated.

"did you see what he bought?" yugyeom asked.

"nope, he didn't get anything. why? he didn't show you his outfit?" jinyoung asked, sitting up and arm falling to rest on yugyeom's lower back.

"nope. he said it's a surprise or something. but, i saw a pink shirt." yugyeom informed them.

"ooo pink. kinky."
