(Note: Heine's age in this scenario is the same age when he met Viktor - Episode 12)

It was a pleasant day here in Granzreich. People in town are hustling and bustling about with their own business.

Men are exchanging laughter as they shook hands. Women are fancying each other with their beauty. Children are giggling and chasing each other until they're tired of it.

Yep, nothing but a peaceful kingdom.

I was currently moved here a few months ago and I'm still adjusting with the environment and the people living here.

It was quite sad in my part but I still stayed strong and moved forward.

It was quite different compared to my previous place that I stayed in but all in all, it was just right.

"We got you here fresh fruits with a good price! Step right up, ladies and gentlemen!"

I walked through a crowd of people in the night market which is happening around 7:30 in then evening. I'm still shopping for fruits for my family since we ran out in our storage.

I looked left and right thinking that I should check the other stalls but just then a potato fell out of the crate and started rolling away.

"Oh no! My potatoes!", said the vendor owning the potato crate, witness more potatoes rolling down, "Goodness, I should've double check the crate before I put everything in here".

With my instincts, I smiled at the vendor and said, "Leave it to me!"

The vendor noticed my presence and responded with a glad smile.

"Oh thank you so much! It would be helpful!", said the vendor and started picking up the nearest bunch of potatoes while I following the rolling potatoes leading who knows where.

As I kept following it, it ended up rolling downhill so I had to continue following it.

When I did, I ended up near a sewage system and here I saw a bunch of homeless kids growing hungry.

I gasped looking each of their expression and it almost made my heart wrench into pieces.

"Ahh...food..."

"We ran out food again..."

Hearing their voices made me worried so with that in mind, I brought out one loaf of bread and took out one two-three slices.

I took a few step forward towards the sewage system and when they notice my presence, their faces lighten up.

"Hello. You guys seem to be hungry", I said, presenting them the slices of bread, "Here".

They grinned from ear to ear as they approached me with excitement. I gave them each a slice and in the corner of my eye, I saw another figure with long red hair and eyes.

"Eh?", I muttered for a split second but when he came out of the shadows, he was looking straight at me with hint of curiosity and he seems to be one of the homeless kids too.

"Um, hey there", I said to the red-head, "You want a slice too?".

He didn't say anything at first but he approached me and accepted my offering.

"Oh, why thank you", said the red-head with a straight face and started munching on the slice, "Hmm, I never seen you around here before. Are you new?".

"Yeah, I just moved here a few months ago", I answered, "I'm still new to this town but I hope I'll be able to find what it has to offer".

He only nodded at my response and continued eating with the other children.

I smiled at him and continued picking up the potatoes on the ground.

"One, two, three...", I counted until goes by number of ten potatoes but just when I was about to pick up the eleventh one, someone grabbed it for me.

I looked up to see the red-head helping me gather up the remaining potatoes.

"Oh, you don't have to-"

I stopped when he gave me a look that's telling me that "I want to help you" so I considered his offer.

After picking them up, I told him we should return it to the market vendor up the hill. When we got there, we returned it the owner in no time at all.

"Thank you, thank you!! You and your kid brother are a big help!", said the vendor.

The red-head puffed his cheeks and said, "I'm not a kid! I'm a grown up!"

I looked over to him and I could almost imagine clouds coming out of his head which I almost find it adorable.

"Grown up?", I questioned to him.

He looked at me and answered, "Well, yes. I'm actually around your age (A/N: teen age) but height is what's lacking. Everyone always mistakes me as a little boy".

I opened my mouth slightly thinking that all this time I thought he was a child as well.

"I see, what a surprise", I said as both of us walked away from the vendor, "Anyways, why did you help me?".

"I'm repaying your kindness", said the red-head, "Seeing you helping the children made me want to help you. Its the least I could do for accepting a young lady's offer".

Woah, he's a gentleman!

I could almost feel a gentleman vibe coming from him and boy, it was really calming.

"W-Well, thank you so much!", I said, bowing, "I don't get to meet people like you around here".

"Same here", said the red-head, "If I may introduce myself, my name is Heine. Heine Wittgenstein. You are, kind lady?".

I giggled and presented my hand to him for a handshake, "I'm (Y/N)(L/N)! I hope we become great friends as we continue meeting each other, Heine"

He almost formed a smile from the corner of his lips as he took my hand gently and shook it.
