*Charlie's POV*

"Charlie! Stop resisting!" "God dammit, Charlie!" Lily and Niall scolded/whined as they dragged me into the hall of venue of Maria's event. Alex texted me that she's coming to the party, she's just not car-pooling with us.

"Okay, I'll stop now. Let go of me." They let go simultaneously. "In another thought, I'll just go" I turned around about to start walking but Niall and Lily hooked their arms on mine and started pulled me inside; so I was basically walking backwards. "NO!!!"

I looked at their direction and saw a bouncer by the door of the event room. This dude looks more of a club bouncer than a bouncer to guard a formal event. Lily and Niall showed three invitations to the bouncer. Wait, three? "Don't leave your things un-attended" Lily whispered in my ear. I groaned.

"Tell my mom, I love her!" I shouted at the bouncer dramatically as Niall and Lily pulled me inside.

After a few seconds, the two abductors finally let go of me. Niall placed his hands on my shoulders before spinning my around, almost making me lose my balance. I glared at him. I looked around the room.

It was plain but sophisticated. The room isn't drowning with birthday balloons; it was really a formal event. No doubt this was a mature kind of birthday party.

"Hey, guys!" I turned and saw Liam walking towards us.

"Hi" "Hey" I saw Liam's gaze switch towards Lily. Lily just gave him a small smile before looking on the ground.

"How are you enjoying the party?"

After a few seconds, no one answered. "Oh, it's really nice." I smiled up at Liam.

"Look! There's Harry! Harry!" Before I could stop Liam, he already caught Harry's attention. I saw Harry's head turn in confusion, trying to find who called him. Of course, Liam just had to wave his arms over his head like a maniac obviously getting Harry attention. He smiled at him, before his gaze snapped to me. His face brightened, but as soon as he saw what I was wearing, he frowned and turned away. Now, I felt bad for not wearing the dress. Whatever, he deserved it, right?

"Is that, Justin Bieber?!" Niall's voice became high-pitched.

"Yup, there are a lot of celebrities here." Liam answered him, popping the 'p'.

"I.have.to.get.his.autograph" Before anyone could even say anything, Niall dashed away from us and headed to Justin's direction.

"Let us all welcome, Ms. Maria Llhoy!" Everyone started clapping as the spotlight shine down on Maria. She's wearing a beautiful black and white gown and she had her hair in an elegant bun.

I saw Zayn walk to her as slow, elegant music filled the entire room.

My smile faded as Maria and Zayn began to slow dance. I looked away and turned to my right. I saw Harry shamelessly flirting with a girl by the buffet tables. I quickly looked away before he catches me staring.

"Um, I'm just going to sit for awhile. Excuse me." I quietly walked away as soon as Liam and Lily nodded.

"I'll just go after Niall" I heard Lily's voice say to Liam, clearly feeling uncomfortable.
