Today is the first day of Senior year and Leslie Daniels is so excited to finish!
"Hey girl, I can't believe today is our first day back on campus for the last time!" said Leslie.
"I know right, it felt like forever being here, but i'm glad we made it! Have you finished getting all your stuff unpacked, Les!" said Cameron.
"Almost done, Cam, but i'm ready to go get some food, I am starving!" said Leslie.
"Well, let's go to the cafe!" Cam said.
"IDK, maybe not on the first day back! How about Chick-fil-A?" Leslie said.
"That's fine by me, let's go!" said Cam.
As Leslie and Cam walk out the door, the two seen some guys across the hallway from them. It was Bryshere (Yazz) and Woody. They've been neighbors since Freshman year. Woody actually went to the same high school as Leslie, so they have known each other for a long time.
"Les, how you doing girl?" said Woody while also giving Leslie a hug.
"I've been doing good, Woody! How about you?" said Leslie as she hugged him back.
"Can't complain much! Ready for this year to be over!" said Woody.
"I'm with you on that!" said Cam.
"Damn man, I wish I was graduating with y'all!" said Bryshere (Yazz).
"Well, I told you ass to take some summer classes, but you wouldn't listen!" said Woody.
"I should've, but at least I will graduate the same year as y'all!" said Yazz.
"Yeah, it just will be a semester later!" said Cam.
"Whatever Cam!" said Yazz.
"Well, we'll see you two later!" said Leslie.
"Aight!" both Yazz and Woody said.
At Chick-Fil-A
Leslie and Cam arrived at Chick-Fil-A and was going into the long line.
"Damn, this line long!" said Leslie.
"Well, what you think, it is the first day back and everybody wants to come and eat here!" Cam said.
"Whatever Cam!" said Leslie.
*About 15 minutes later
"I'm just gonna let you know, i'm not coming here until a couple weeks after classes start! I don't have time to be waiting in a damn line for 15 minutes, just to get a chicken sandwich and some fries!" said Cam.
"That is not my problem! I just didn't want any cafe today" said Leslie.
"Well, you want to eat in here?" said Cam.
"Sure, why not!" said Leslie.
While the two went to sit at their table, Leslie saw a group of guys sitting across the table from them. It was Luke, Elijah, Algee, and Keith. Even though Leslie looked at all of them, her eyes were mostly on Keith.
"Hello, Leslie, Leslie, LES, LESLIIIEEE!" Cam said and shouted.
"Uh-Did you say something Cam!" said Leslie.
"Yes I did, actually, when the hell you gonna shoot your shot with Keith?" said Cam. "What are you talking about, Cam?" said Leslie.
"You know what i'm talking about Les! You've been having feelings for him since Freshman year and here you are in your senior year and have yet to make any kind of moves toward him!" said Cam.
"Cam, Keith doesn't want me! He hasn't really noticed me, even though we took all of the same classes together!" said Leslie.
"That doesn't have nothing to do with not taking your shot all this time!" said Cam.
"I know, but he looks like he doesn't need anything to distract him since he is working on getting his film pitched to a Hollywood director!" said Leslie.
"Yeah, but if you really want to tell him, this is the right time to tell him!" said Cam.
"You right Cam, I need to go ahead and tell him how I feel!" said Leslie.
As they were having their conversation, Keith happened to look up at Leslie and gave her a smile and wave.
